About Padium Canary Wharf
Padium Canary Wharf is a nine-court premium padel venue at 10 Bank Street, Canary Wharf Estate, London E14 4DE - on the southern Bank Street strip of the Wharf financial district. Padium Canary Wharf opened in August 2023.
The build was specced to a different bar than other London sites: AFP panoramic courts on Mondo turf, indoor ceilings at 10.2 metres, one of the highest in UK padel at this scale. The centre court has AI-camera ball tracking that delivers post-match stats.
The courts
Nine panoramic courts: seven indoor and two outdoor, all built to AFP standard with Mondo turf surfaces.
Indoor ceilings at 10.2 metres - one of the highest in UK padel at this scale - allow full overhead lobs without compromise. The centre court has run-out side walls plus the AI-camera setup; the other six indoor courts share the same surface and lighting spec without the run-outs. Indoor LED to 23:00, outdoor floodlit to the same hours.
Booking and access
Court hire is £80 to £100 per hour through the Padium booking page, which routes to the Padel Mates app. The centre court is priced at the £100 rate. Slots come in 60, 90 or 120 minute blocks.
Pay-and-play is the default; corporate accounts and group block-bookings handled via +44 7950 852054. Peak weekday evenings (17:00-21:00) and weekend mornings book five to seven days ahead; off-peak weekday mornings stay available same-day.
Early (06:00 to 07:00) and late (21:00 to 23:00) sessions need a door access code, issued at booking. Five-minute walk from Canary Wharf station (Jubilee, Elizabeth) and Heron Quays (DLR); on-site Wharf parking nearby.
Programme and social
The mezzanine lounge runs as a hospitality space for between-match refuels and post-game social, with a smoothie bar and views down over the centre court.
Group bookings, corporate events and tournament hosting all run through the venue. The centre court’s spectator gallery and AI-camera setup make it London’s most cinematic competition surface. Premium changing rooms include towel service, the pro shop carries current padel kit, and a structured calendar of events runs through the year.
Best for
Players who want London’s best court spec without travelling out of zone, City and Wharf workers who can extend a lunch break or after-work session, and anyone whose game justifies AI-camera analysis on the centre court.
