Destination Padel Cheadle

Destination Padel Cheadle is a purpose-built indoor padel club at Unit 4e, Stanley Green Trading Estate, Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle SK8 6RB. It sits in the south Manchester and Stockport belt, with free on-site parking at the trading estate.

The site is a short drive from the A34, the A555 Manchester Airport Relief Road and junction 3 of the M60, making it an easy stop for players coming from Cheadle, Heald Green, Wilmslow, Bramhall and the wider Stockport borough.

Opened in January 2025 by co-founder Liam O’Dwyer, the Cheadle venue is the second site in the Destination Padel group after the five-court Northwich club that launched in late 2024. The brand leans into a distinctive pink-turf, black-panoramic-steel look and a community-first format that mixes pay-and-play padel with a social zone, work hub and small retail area under one roof.

The padel courts

The Cheadle site has three indoor padel courts, all doubles and all fully panoramic. Two are standard match courts in the brand’s signature bright pink premium turf, and the third is a central show court that reverses the palette with black turf and pink frames, ringed by an elevated terrace viewing container so spectators can watch from above.

The hall is purpose-built with a permanent roof and professional LED lighting, so play continues year-round regardless of Greater Manchester weather. Court walls are tempered glass for the full panoramic effect, and rental rackets are available at the desk for £2 if you want to try padel before buying your own kit.

Booking and access

Court bookings run exclusively through Playtomic. You can book a court on Playtomic or via the Playtomic app, with live rates that typically sit in the £42 to £50 per court range for a 60 minute peak slot. That works out at roughly £10.50 to £12.50 per player for a standard doubles match.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 06:00 to 22:00 and Saturday to Sunday 07:00 to 22:00, with early-morning slots popular among commuters and last slots filling fast at weekends. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your start time receive a full refund through Playtomic. Padel programme and social

The club runs a steady weekly programme of Americano-format mix-ins, including a Thursday Americano Club for intermediate players and a dedicated 50+ Senior Social for older players who want competitive but friendly games. Between sessions the cafeteria serves coffee, food and drinks, the work hub offers free WiFi for players spending half a day on site, and a small retail area stocks rackets and grips for impulse upgrades.

Best for padel in Cheadle and south Manchester

Destination Padel Cheadle suits players who want a polished, branded indoor experience close to Stockport and the airport corridor. The spectator-friendly show court makes it a solid choice for tournaments, mini-leagues and bringing non-playing friends along to watch. The Americano sessions and 50+ social are a useful entry point for newer or returning players looking to meet a regular group.

It is less suited to players hunting for outdoor summer courts or a multi-sport gym setup, since the site is padel-only and fully indoor.
