About Padel Chippenham
Padel Chippenham is an indoor padel club at Emery Gate, Chippenham SN15 3JP, UK, with four courts from £36 per court for a peak hour. Court hire is pay-and-play on Playtomic with no membership needed, and Padel Chippenham opens every day from 6am to 10pm.
Padel Chippenham also has a MultiBall interactive sports wall with 45+ games, the only installation in Wiltshire. It gives groups, families and anyone waiting for a court something active to do between games, and it makes the venue a good choice for a mixed group where not everyone plays padel.
The padel courts
All four courts at Padel Chippenham are indoor, so games go ahead whatever the weather. Each court has full-glass back walls in a panoramic layout, which keeps the space bright and open and gives a clear view of play from outside the glass.
The playing surface is cushioned artificial turf built to the IPF standard. A cushioned turf is kinder on knees and ankles than a firmer base and gives a consistent bounce, which helps newer players settle quickly and lets stronger players play at pace.
Off court, there are changing areas and toilets, lockers, a vending machine, refreshments and wifi. There are no showers, so most players arrive ready to play. Rackets are available to hire at reception, and rackets and balls are on sale on site for anyone who wants their own kit.

Padel programme and social
Coaching at Padel Chippenham is run by qualified coaches, with group sessions and one-to-one lessons for every ability. Group sessions keep the cost down and add match practice, while one-to-one lessons suit players who want to work on a specific shot or tactic.
Intro sessions for new players take the form of beginner clinics run by qualified coaches. After a clinic, the Beginner’s Americano is a relaxed, friendly way to try competitive padel, priced at £15 per player rather than per court.
Social mix-ins are the simplest way in: turn up alone, get paired up and play. They are the easiest route into the game and into the club’s community, and they suit anyone who has moved to the area or does not have a regular group of four.
Tournaments take the form of Americano events booked through Playtomic. The Advanced Americano is a fast, social tournament for stronger players, and the Beginner’s Americano suits newer players. Each event costs £15 per player and has 8 places, so booking early is wise.
Best for
Padel Chippenham is best for players who want indoor padel every day of the week, from early morning to late evening, without signing up to a membership. The off-peak windows make weekday mornings and afternoons the cheapest way to play, and the optional memberships reward regular players.
Padel Chippenham also suits complete beginners, thanks to beginner clinics, the Beginner’s Americano, social mix-ins and racket hire at reception. If you are new to the sport, the beginners guide to padel in the UK covers the rules, scoring and what to expect from a first session.
Groups and families get extra value from the MultiBall wall, and stronger players have the Advanced Americano to aim for. For more places to play, see padel in Chippenham, the wider list of padel clubs in Wiltshire, or Chalk Padel elsewhere in the county.
