About ¡PADEL PADEL! - Eltham
¡PADEL PADEL! - Eltham is a SE9 community padel venue at the former Eltham police station on Well Hall Road, opened 2025 with a brief to make padel social and accessible.
Four tournament-grade outdoor courts share the renovated station building with a fully stocked bar and proper changing rooms. The pricing tier sits comfortably below central London with member discounts on top, pulling bookings from Eltham, Mottingham, Lewisham and the wider SE catchment.
The courts
Four outdoor panoramic courts on synthetic grass at the former police-station site. Floodlit through evening play. Open-top, weather-dependent. Tournament-grade build, opened 2025.
Booking and access
Court hire £38 off-peak (Mon-Fri 07:00-17:00) and £48 peak through Playtomic. Membership unlocks priority booking, discounted court rates and 15% off food and drink at the on-site bar. Pay-and-play available without membership. Closest stations: Eltham (rail) and Mottingham (rail), both around a 5-minute walk. Limited on-street parking.
Programme and social
The renovated police-station building gives the venue an atmosphere distinct from leisure-centre and country-club competitors: fully stocked bar, proper changing rooms, and a community-padel feel through mix-ins, beginner socials and ladder leagues. Beginner intros, group lessons and 1-on-1 sessions through the in-house coaching team. Group bookings, parties and corporate events handled directly.
Best for
Eltham, Mottingham, Lewisham and the wider SE London commuter belt who want tournament-grade outdoor padel inside a community-feel venue with bar and social space, plus members who want priority booking and a 15% food-and-drink discount. Less suited to anyone wanting indoor cover.

What a place! I never knew how addictive Padel could be until this place opened up 5 mins from my house. From day one even as a beginner I felt so welcome, the staff are so lovely. The bar and facilities are great and well maintained. Shout out to Dan for being a great manager (his whole team are lovely.) The academy in particular is amazing, Andrew and Paddy have been great coaches for me to level up my game. Andrew in particular has really helped me gain confidence in just a short amount of time! I will be spending a lot of my days here 🤣🤣🤣🩵
Best Padel venue in South East London. Great set up and atmosphere. The owners Joe and Duy and the General Manager Dan doing a great job down there!
Great quality courts, great staff and lovely pints!
Great community!
