Padel Up - Tyneside

Padel Up Tyneside is a three-court indoor padel venue at Unit 2A, Metro Riverside Park, Gateshead NE11 9DJ, the second site in the Padel Up North East network after Padel Up Teesside in Stockton-on-Tees.

The build runs two doubles courts and one singles court, all under cover for year-round play, with the Padel Up brand operating both venues with the same playing spec and the same on-site Hobo Coffee House partnership for food and drink.

The Metro Riverside Park location sits just off the A1 next to the Metrocentre, with strong road access and free on-site parking.

The courts

Three indoor padel courts at Padel Up Tyneside: two doubles courts and one singles court, all under cover for year-round play in any weather. The singles court is unusual for the North East market and gives competitive players a route to one-on-one match practice that other regional venues do not offer.

All three courts are floodlit through the booking window for evening and early-morning play, with full Padel Up brand spec consistent across the Tyneside and Teesside sites.

Court hire is bookable through Playtomic with rates starting from £20 per hour off-peak, in line with the Padel Up Teesside price model. Peak rates rise into the £30 to £45 per hour bracket. The venue is at Metro Riverside Park, accessible by car (A1, A194(M)) with free on-site parking, plus close proximity to Metrocentre transport links.

Padel Up runs in-house coaching across both Tyneside and Teesside, covering one-to-one sessions and group lessons across beginner, improver and competitive levels.
