About House of Racquet
House of Racquet is a King’s Cross-area padel club at the Tileyard creative campus on N7, opened 2024 with four indoor panoramic courts integrated with the wider creative-campus setting.
The brand pairs padel with culture programming - studios, social spaces and an events calendar that runs through music, art and design alongside court hire. Members and pay-and-play sit side by side, with premium amenities on site.
The courts
Four indoor panoramic courts on synthetic grass at the Tileyard campus. Indoor LED lighting through evening play. Fully covered for year-round play. The four courts share the building with studios, social spaces and the wider Tileyard music and creative-industry tenants.
Booking and access
Court hire from £60 an hour through the Padel Mates app. Members get priority access and reduced rates. Pro shop, cafe and premium changing rooms on site. Closest stations: Caledonian Road (Piccadilly) and York Way / King’s Cross (Northern, Victoria, rail, Elizabeth), both around a 10-minute walk. Limited on-street parking on Tileyard Road.
Programme and social
The Tileyard campus setting brings music studios, art and design tenants and a creative-industry culture alongside the padel, making the venue feel different from leisure-centre or country-club competitors. Beginner intros, group lessons and 1-on-1 sessions through the in-house coaching team. Cultural events and member-only social runs through the calendar. Group bookings handled directly.
Best for
King’s Cross, Camden and Islington players who want indoor padel paired with creative-campus culture programming, members seeking a destination club with studios and social spaces alongside courts, and anyone wanting a different vibe to the standard premium club. Less suited to budget walk-on play.
