Louth Padel Co

Louth Padel Co is a new outdoor padel facility at Plot 10 Scarborough Road, Louth LN11 0WD, sited within Louth Tennis & Sports Centre. The venue sits just off the A16 and A157.

That puts it within easy reach of Mablethorpe, Grimsby, Horncastle and Skegness for players travelling across the Lincolnshire Wolds, with free on-site parking at the Scarborough Road campus.

The club shares its site with the wider tennis centre and the on-site Centre Court Bistro & Bar, so a session on court can roll straight into food and drinks. Changing rooms, WiFi and step-free disabled access are all available.

The padel offer launched as a small, dedicated unit alongside the established tennis programme, giving Louth and the wider Wolds a proper outdoor padel home rather than a single bolt-on court tacked onto another sport.

The padel courts

Louth Padel Co operates two outdoor double padel courts. They use the standard glass-and-mesh walls and synthetic turf surface seen across UK padel, with a sand-dressed pile that plays consistently in dry weather.

Both courts are floodlit for evening play and sit on the Scarborough Road sports campus. They are exposed to typical Lincolnshire wind but otherwise straightforward to play on year-round outside of heavy rain.

Rackets can be hired from behind the bar for £2.50 per use, and tubes of padel balls are sold via the on-site vending machine for £5. Newcomers and visiting players can turn up without gear and still get a full session in.

Booking and access

Court booking is handled entirely through Playtomic, with no separate venue site to navigate. The schedule runs daily from 08:00 to 22:00, with 60, 90 and 120 minute slots available depending on demand and time of day.

Live rates and any off-peak discounts show at the booking step on Playtomic. Standard UK outdoor padel runs around £20-£32 per court for 60 minutes, which works out at roughly £5-£8 per person across a four-ball depending on the time of day. Ninety-minute and 120-minute slots scale up proportionally.

For contact and general queries the wider site is reachable on 01507 609532 or via info@louthtenniscentre.co.uk. Playtomic’s standard cancellation window applies to all bookings made through the platform.

Padel programme and social

The social side is one of the stronger elements at Louth Padel Co. Coached social sessions run on Wednesday evenings in 6-7pm and 7-8pm slots, giving players a steady route into the game alongside more experienced regulars.

Americano tournaments are scheduled regularly through the week, typically split into Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced divisions at £20 entry. The rotation format makes them an easy way to meet other Lincolnshire players.

Friday morning adult coaching slots at 10-11am and 11am-12pm round out the structured programme. The wider Lincolnshire padel scene is mapped by Let’s Move Lincolnshire for players exploring nearby venues.

The venue runs coaching in-house alongside the wider tennis centre - see the coaching tab for details on individual and group sessions. After play, the Centre Court Bistro & Bar handles food and drinks on the same site.

Best for padel in Louth

Louth Padel Co suits Lincolnshire-based players who want a no-fuss outdoor padel home with a proper social programme, easy parking and food and drink on site. It is a strong fit for beginners.

The coached Wednesday socials, hire rackets and Americano formats designed for mixed levels all lower the barrier to entry for first-time padel players in the Louth area, and the on-site bar gives groups somewhere to land after a session.

Players who only play indoor, or who need a deep weekly league structure across multiple courts, may find the two-court footprint limiting at peak times. For everyone else in the Louth, Mablethorpe and wider Wolds area, this is currently the most convenient dedicated padel option.

Louth Padel Co runs coached social sessions on Wednesday evenings and adult coaching on Friday mornings, delivered alongside the wider Louth Tennis & Sports Centre coaching team.
