About Padel Social Club - The O2
Padel Social Club - The O2 is a two-court outdoor padel pop-up at Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX, next to The O2 Arena in North Greenwich.
Opened 2024 as the brand’s second London location alongside flagship Earls Court. Currently operating as a temporary outdoor build while the full club is constructed on the same site.
The offer simplifies to pay-and-play while the permanent venue takes shape. Pre-and-post O2 Arena events make it a useful match-it-with-a-show booking.
The courts
Two outdoor panoramic courts on synthetic grass at Peninsula Square. Floodlit through evening play.
Open-top and weather-dependent. The temporary build will expand into a full clubhouse-and-courts site when construction completes.
Booking and access
Court hire from £40 off-peak to £65 peak through Playtomic. Pay-and-play, no membership required.
Peak evening slots and weekend mornings book three to five days ahead. Open daily 08:00 to 23:00.
Three-minute walk from North Greenwich tube (Jubilee), with the wider O2 Arena retail and dining estate on the doorstep.
Programme and social
The temporary build operates as a leaner version of the brand’s Earls Court clubhouse experience, with rackets available to rent on site (free with valid student ID).
The Peninsula Square setting means a session can pair with O2 Arena events, the Greenwich Peninsula bars or the cable-car crossing. Group bookings handled directly through the venue.
Best for
North Greenwich, Canary Wharf and Greenwich players who want a quick outdoor hit paired with the wider O2 destination, plus visitors combining padel with an O2 event or the Peninsula’s bars and restaurants.
Less suited to anyone wanting indoor cover or the full Padel Social Club clubhouse experience (which lives at Earls Court while construction completes).
