Padel World UK

Padel World UK is an indoor padel centre at Unit 2 Branwen, Tir Llwyd Enterprise Park, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl LL18 5JA, off the A55 North Wales Expressway between Junctions 23 and 24. The site sits beside the seafront resorts of Rhyl and Towyn and pulls players from across Conwy, Denbighshire and Flintshire.

The venue brands itself as North Wales’ home for padel and pairs four indoor courts with a Matrix Fitness gym, sauna, golf simulator and a cafe and bar. You can find full details on the Padel World UK website or get in touch on 01745 346304 and info@padelworlduk.co.uk.

Membership is positioned as a wider lifestyle product covering padel, golf, fitness, recovery and social spaces, with priority booking, peak-time access and a free birthday booking for members. Membership numbers are deliberately capped to protect court availability.

The padel courts

Playtomic lists four bookable padel courts at the venue: Court 1 and Court 2 are full-size doubles courts, while Court 3 and Court 4 are singles courts. All four are indoor with glass back walls and mesh sides, giving the fast rallies and consistent bounce typical of a panoramic crystal setup.

The courts sit inside a permanent steel-framed warehouse structure on Tir Llwyd Enterprise Park, so play continues year round under LED lighting regardless of the North Wales weather. Singles play on Courts 3 and 4 is genuinely useful in the UK, where most centres only offer doubles courts.

Equipment hire is available on site for first-timers and visitors, so you can turn up with trainers and pick up rackets and balls at reception.

Booking and access

Court booking is handled through Playtomic. You can book a court at Padel World UK on Playtomic or open the Playtomic app on your phone. Live court hire rates show at the booking step on Playtomic, and recent peak-evening slots have been listed in the region of £10 to £12 per player for a 60 minute doubles slot.

Slot lengths are typically 60 or 90 minutes. Cancellation policies are set by the operator on Playtomic and shown before you confirm payment, so check the slot screen before booking off-peak or peak time.

The centre is open every day from 07:00 to 22:00. Phone is 01745 346304 and email is info@padelworlduk.co.uk for membership, group bookings or anything the booking platform cannot answer.

Getting there is straightforward. The A55 Expressway runs east-west across North Wales and Junction 23 (Bodelwyddan) or Junction 24 (Rhuddlan) both feed into Kinmel Bay within five minutes. Rhyl railway station is roughly three miles away on the North Wales Coast Line from Chester, Llandudno and Holyhead, and there is free on-site parking at the enterprise park.

Padel programme and social

Coaching is led in house by Coach Liam, with dedicated sessions every Thursday from 14:00 to 19:00 for beginners through to intermediate players. Sessions are structured and grouped by level, and members get priority on coaching slots. See the coaching tab below for tiers and pricing.

On the social side, Padel World UK runs a weekly Friday AM Americano tournament on Playtomic, with an unrestricted level range and a per-player entry around £12.50 to £15. Improver’s coached matchplay sessions also appear in the Playtomic schedule at £20 per player for 60 minutes including the coach.

Off court, the cafe and bar gives players a place to land before and after sessions, and the pro shop carries the basics you might need on the day. The Matrix-equipped gym and sauna run alongside the courts for members who want to warm up, recover or train around their padel slot.

Best for padel in North Wales

Padel World UK is best for North Wales locals who want indoor padel they can rely on through winter, beginners who appreciate structured Thursday coaching, and Americano regulars looking for a steady weekly fixture. The mix of doubles and singles courts is unusual in the UK and suits more advanced players who want to drill 1v1 between matches.

It is less of a fit for visitors expecting a large multi-court Spanish-style academy, players hunting for a deep pool of league fixtures, or anyone who needs late-night opening past 22:00. For a North Wales coastal centre that ties padel to a wider gym, sauna, golf simulator and cafe offer, it is the most complete option in the Conwy area.
