East Dorset Padel (Poole)

East Dorset Padel sits at the East Dorset Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club on Salterns Road in Lower Parkstone, three outdoor panoramic padel courts that opened summer 2024 on a pay-and-play basis.

The courts

Three outdoor panoramic padel courts at the Salterns Road Lower Parkstone site. Floodlit through evening play. Open-air build for fresh-air play through the warmer months. The wider East Dorset Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club setting brings established tennis and croquet facilities alongside the padel.

Booking and access

Court hire bookable through Playtomic on a pay-and-play basis - open to everyone, members and visitors alike. Salterns Road location in Lower Parkstone, putting the venue inside reach of Poole, Parkstone, Bournemouth, Christchurch and the wider Dorset coast catchment with on-site parking via the wider club. Closest stations: Parkstone (rail) and Poole (rail).

Programme and social

The wider East Dorset Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club setting brings established tennis, croquet and clubhouse hospitality alongside the three padel courts, making it a heritage Dorset coast multi-sport club.

The pay-and-play model opens access beyond the membership base - unusual for UK heritage clubs. Daily mix-ins, beginner socials and structured group lessons run through the in-house coaching programme. Group bookings handled directly through the venue.

Best for

Poole, Parkstone, Bournemouth, Christchurch and the wider Dorset coast catchment players who want pay-and-play padel at a heritage Dorset coast club, regulars combining padel with tennis or croquet, and visiting players accessing the open pay-and-play model rather than members-only. Less suited to indoor-first players given the open-air court build.
