About Henfield Leisure Centre

Henfield Leisure Centre is a community leisure centre at Northcroft, Henfield BN5 9QB, with two outdoor padel courts that anyone can book, from £24 per court per hour. The centre is a registered charity, and padel sits alongside its gym, sports hall and on-site cafe.

Henfield Leisure Centre is listed with the other padel courts in Henfield, and it suits players who want coaching and social sessions built into the week.

The padel courts

Henfield Leisure Centre has two outdoor doubles padel courts with glass walls. The courts are covered and floodlit, so they are built for all weather play, and both are set up for the standard four player doubles game.

Equipment hire is handled at reception. Racket hire costs £2 and includes padel balls, and you can also buy a tube of three padel balls for £6. That makes it easy to turn up and play without owning any kit.

With two courts, the venue keeps a small club feel, and the mix-ins and coaching groups bring regulars and newcomers onto the same courts each week.

Away from the courts, the centre has a new gym and weights room, a large sports hall, a fitness studio and three rooms for hire. The centre also runs Kidz Club and Sharky’s Soft Play and Cafe, which are both on site.

Henfield Leisure Centre runs pay and play padel: the courts are open to the public and no membership is needed to book. Courts are booked online through Court22, either on the website or in the Court22 app.

Court hire is priced per court per hour. Off-peak, Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm: £24 for 60 minutes. Peak, Monday to Thursday 5pm to 10pm: £32 for 60 minutes. Peak, Friday 5pm to 9pm: £32 for 60 minutes. Weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm: £32 for 60 minutes.

The rates above are a summer special offer. The usual rates are £40 per court per hour, and £28 for off-peak play. Shared between four players, the £32 rate works out at £8 each.

Regular players can take out a Padel Membership for £25 per month. It gives 30% off your quarter of the court fee, plus discounts on coaching and mix-ins.

The centre has two car parks and is fully accessible, with a wheelchair accessible ramp with handrail, level access throughout, accessible toilets and Blue Badge parking spaces.
