Sandbach Padel Club

Sandbach Padel Club is a three-court venue based at Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road, Sandbach, Cheshire CW11 1RA, sharing a site with Sandbach Health and Fitness.

The club sits a short drive from the A534 and Junction 17 of the M6, giving easy access from Crewe, Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Congleton. Bookings opened in May 2026 and run through Playtomic.

The club opens daily from 07:30 and stays open until 22:00 on weekdays, with slightly shorter evenings on Saturdays and Sundays. More on the rugby and fitness side of the site, including gym membership and clubhouse facilities, is on the Sandbach RUFC website.

The padel courts

The venue has three double, panoramic courts. Two of them, Bradwall Bakehouse Court 1 and Symphony Hospitality Court 2, sit under a permanent roof so play continues through rain and into winter evenings. The third, Sandbach Padel Club Court 3, is fully outdoor.

All three are full-size panoramic courts with glass back walls and pole-mounted floodlighting for evening sessions. The covered courts share the same surface specification as the outdoor court, so doubles tactics and ball behaviour stay consistent across all three.

Booking and access

Bookings are managed through Playtomic. Players can book a padel court on Playtomic for 60 or 90-minute slots, with live court availability and pricing shown at the booking step.

Opening hours are 07:30 to 22:00 Monday to Friday, and 07:30 to 21:00 on Saturday and Sunday, with the same late finish on bank holidays. The Playtomic app also handles open matches at the right level.

Players who prefer not to use the app can book by calling the rugby clubhouse on 01270 749354, or by speaking with reception at Sandbach Health and Fitness on arrival. Free parking sits in the rugby clubhouse car park, with overflow space close by.

Racket and ball hire is available on site for players who do not yet have their own kit, and a small store at the venue stocks padel accessories. Cancellation and refund terms are set by Playtomic and shown at checkout.

Padel programme and social

The club runs introductory sessions for newcomers, including an Intro to Padel academy class aimed at beginners and priced from £10 for a 60-minute group session on the venue’s panoramic courts.

Open matches and club nights are coordinated through Playtomic, which makes it straightforward for solo players or pairs to join a mixed group at the right level on any of the three courts.

Because the venue shares the site with a rugby club, gym, cafeteria and snack bar, social play tends to spill into the clubhouse afterwards. Changing rooms with lockers, WiFi and step-free access to the courts are all on site.

EV charging is available in the clubhouse car park for players who want to top up while they play. The club lists @sandbachpadelclub on Instagram for fixture updates, league news and event announcements throughout the season.

Best for padel in Sandbach

Sandbach Padel Club suits regulars and beginners in mid-Cheshire who want a no-fuss venue with reliable weather cover, plus the bonus of a full gym, changing facilities and parking on the same plot.

The mix of two covered courts and one outdoor court means doubles can run through winter while keeping an option for warmer summer evenings under the open sky.

It is less suited to players who want a stand-alone destination padel club with bar service built around the courts, or those who require a fully indoor experience on every booking.

For local pay-and-play players in Sandbach, Crewe and the wider Cheshire East area, however, it is a strong, accessible option from morning through to late evening, seven days a week.

Sandbach Padel Club is one of the venues on our padel clubs in Sandbach page, where you can compare courts, prices and how to book.

Sandbach Padel Club runs introductory and improver group sessions on its own courts, including Intro to Padel for newcomers. Sessions are bookable through Playtomic alongside court hire.
