PADELHUB Slough

PADELHUB Slough sits at Unit 1, Albion Close, Slough SL2 5DT, five premium indoor padel courts that opened in August 2023 as the brand’s first venue and one of the UK’s earliest purpose-built indoor padelhub slough padel destinations.

Founded by Charles Winterton, the SL2 hub paired the courts with a court-side gym, wellness studio and licensed cafe and bar from day one. The venue sits a short drive from Slough town centre and Burnham, easy off the A355 and M4 J6, with free on-site parking.

Live booking, ratings and amenities are managed through the PADELHUB website and the Playtomic app, with the SL2 branch positioned as the founding site for an eight-strong chain now spanning Crawley, Epsom, Fleet, North London, Reading, Southampton and Tunbridge Wells.

The padel courts

Five indoor padel courts sit under a permanent roof, with panoramic glass-back configurations and indoor LED lighting through evening play. The premium five-court roster supports daily mix-ins, league play and group coaching at scale while keeping the venue weather-proof through Berkshire’s wetter months.

Equipment hire is available at reception, so newcomers can turn up with trainers and play without buying kit. The wider building wraps the courts with changing rooms, lockers, a court-side gym for warm-ups, wellness suite and disabled access throughout.

Booking and access

Court hire is bookable through Playtomic and the PADELHUB app, with 60 and 90 minute slots across the daily grid. Public rates sit in the £40 to £70 per court per hour band depending on time slot, with peak evening slots higher than weekday mornings. Live rates show at the booking step.

Members access discounted court hire, included group sessions and gym access through Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers from £95 per month, with a £9.99 trial month for first-time members. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 23:00, Saturday 08:30 to 23:00 and Sunday 08:30 to 22:00. Free on-site parking sits directly outside Unit 1, with step-free access from the car park into reception and through to the courts.

Slough rail station is roughly a ten minute drive, with the M4 J6 and A355 the main routes in. The site sits inside the Albion Close industrial estate, easy to find with sat nav set to SL2 5DT and visible signage on the unit.

Programme and social

Daily mix-ins, beginner socials, club leagues and one-off tournaments run through the venue calendar, with social rounds usually filling fastest on weekday evenings and Sunday mornings. The on-site fitness studio runs yoga, Pilates, Zumba and indoor cycling alongside court hours, included for members and bookable as drop-ins for guests.

The licensed cafe and bar makes the venue a natural meeting spot before and after sessions, with hot food, coffee and a full drinks menu through the day. Equipment hire, a small pro shop and lockers cover the practical side.

The SL2 venue suits Berkshire and west London players who want consistent indoor padel through the year, members who value the gym and wellness add-ons, and competitive players who like league play and structured coaching. The chain’s founding site carries the strongest programme density across the PADELHUB network.

It is a weaker fit for players hunting cheap pay-and-play singles courts or outdoor-only sessions, since the venue is fully indoor and priced at premium club rates rather than budget court hire.
