About Pickwick Cricket & Padel Club
Pickwick Cricket & Padel Club is a multi-sport venue at Park Lane, West Bromwich B21 8LE, combining two indoor glass-walled padel courts with professional indoor cricket infrastructure under one roof.
The venue is unusual in the West Midlands market as a cricket club extending into padel rather than a dedicated padel build, and the multi-sport setup means players can mix racket and bat sports across the same trip.
The site is open 7 days a week with extended hours through to 2am, which gives more flexibility than typical Birmingham padel venues.
The courts
Two indoor glass-walled padel courts at Pickwick, both built for speed, safety and consistent year-round playing conditions. The two-court size keeps the booking pattern manageable, while the multi-sport setup adds professional indoor cricket nets with advanced video analysis technology on the same site - useful for cricket-curious padel players or families combining both sports.
The cricket centre includes a bowling machine and named ECB Level 2 coaching alongside the padel offer.
Booking and access
Court hire is bookable through Playtomic, the exclusive booking platform for padel slots. Rates run £30 to £40 per hour depending on time of day. Block bookings, special events, team bookings and birthday parties can all be arranged by calling +44 7418 032492.
The site is open daily 8am to 2am - the late closing window is unusual and suits shift workers and night owls. Free on-site parking, changing rooms, lockers, free WiFi and a vending machine round out the basics. Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance attract a full refund through Playtomic.
Programme and social
In-house padel coaching covers 1-2-1 sessions at £40 per hour, with named coaches Hamza Nadeem, Shozair Ali and Munir Tanzeel available for both indoor padel and outdoor sessions. Cricket coaching alongside the padel offer is delivered by Coach Hamza Nadeem, an ECB Accredited Level 2 coach with first-class playing experience and over 10 years of coaching credentials.
Group bookings, school programmes, academy sessions and birthday packages are all available across both sports. Email info@pickwickcricketandpadelclub.co.uk for direct enquiries.
Best for
West Bromwich and wider Birmingham players who want late-night padel access, a distinctive cricket-and-padel multi-sport setting, and named in-house coaching from ECB-accredited staff. The 2am close suits shift workers and players who can’t easily fit standard 10pm-closing venues into their schedule. Less suited to anyone wanting outdoor padel, since both courts are indoor.
Pickwick Cricket & Padel Club is one of the venues on our padel clubs in West Bromwich page, where you can compare courts, prices and how to book.
