The Padel Club at The Mount Golf and Country Club

The Padel Club at The Mount Golf and Country Club brings four floodlit outdoor padel courts to Wrottesley Park Road, Perton, Wolverhampton WV6 7HL. The site sits within a multi-sport country club on the western edge of the West Midlands, formerly known as Perton Golf Club.

The courts are reached from the A41 and A454, a short drive from the Wolverhampton ring road and Junction 3 of the M54. Free on-site parking sits right next to the padel courts, and a step-free path runs from the car park through the clubhouse to the gates.

The padel courts

Players get four outdoor courts branded as Panoramic Padel 1 to 4. The venue describes the build as Panoramic Hexa courts, which means full glass back walls, glass side panels and reduced metal framing for clear sightlines from the seating area and from court to court.

All four courts are fully floodlit, so evening sessions through the autumn and winter run on the same schedule as daylight slots. The courts are doubles only, with standard 20m x 10m playing areas, and the layout leaves space for spectators and bag drop between courts.

Booking padel and access

All bookings run through Playtomic, in either 60 or 90 minute slots. Off-peak rates apply Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00 at £34 per court for 60 minutes (about £8.50 per person across a doubles match). Peak rates of £44 per court (about £11.00 per person) apply weekday evenings after 15:00, weekends and bank holidays.

Standard booking opens seven days ahead. A £5.99 per month booking membership extends the window to fourteen days, which matters for Saturday morning and after-work slots that fill first. Cancellation terms appear at checkout in Playtomic, and refunds default to wallet credit on the booking account.

Racket hire runs at £6 per racket, and fresh balls are sold from the Bunker Sports Bar. Opening hours are 07:00 to 22:00, seven days a week. Structured tournaments and ladders are expected to roll out once the courts settle in. These will run alongside the wider club calendar that already includes golf opens and members nights at the Bunker Sports Bar.

Best for padel in Perton

This site suits Wolverhampton, Tettenhall, Codsall and Pattingham players who want four panoramic courts on one site, with the Bunker Sports Bar, restaurant, sauna and changing rooms attached. Golfers at the club get a natural second sport without leaving the property.

It is less suited to players who need indoor courts in wet winter weather, since all four courts are open to the sky, or to players who want established leagues from day one. Singles specialists should look elsewhere too - every court is set up for doubles play.
