About Mesa Padel Club

Mesa Padel Club sits on Main Street at 219 W Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201, a short walk from Mesa Drive light rail and minutes from US-60, Loop 101 and Loop 202. The club opened in April 2026 as the first outdoor multi-court padel club in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Founded by former Dutch professional footballer Jeroen Meefout after he discovered padel in the United States, the mission is to get people moving, playing and connecting through padel in downtown Mesa.

The build is design-led - black steel framing, green turf, and open desert sky - woven into Main Street alongside breweries, coffee shops and restaurants. The site is roughly equidistant from Scottsdale, Chandler, Tempe and Gilbert, a natural meeting point for East Valley players.

The padel courts

There are 4 outdoor doubles courts, built to full 10 x 20 metre regulation size with glass back walls and metal mesh side panels. The surface is Padel Galis - a Spanish-spec synthetic turf system used across European competition venues.

Padel Galis was chosen for grip, ball response and durability in the Arizona climate, and the system is regularly used on the World Padel Tour circuit. Court 1, Court 2, Court 3 and Court 4 are all bookable independently on Playtomic, with a consistent surface across the four.

Courts are panoramic on the back wall, so spectators in the lounge area get a clear view of the action. All four courts are floodlit for evening play, and because they are open to the sky, sessions before 10am and after 6pm are most comfortable through warmer months.

Booking and access

Courts are booked online through Playtomic, which shows live availability across all four courts and lets you open a slot to other players. The club is pay-and-play - membership is offered but not required to book.

Live rates show at the booking step on Playtomic. Competitions list from $15 and academy classes from $30. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 6:00 - 24:00 and Saturday to Sunday 7:00 - 23:00, giving early-morning and late-evening windows that suit shift workers and league players.

Free parking is available on Main Street and in nearby lots, and the Mesa Drive light rail station is directly across the street - unusual for a US padel venue. The on-site pro shop carries rackets and balls for hire. Phone (602) 623-8045 or email info@mesapadelclub.com for group bookings or court blocks.

Padel programme and social play

The club runs open matches, leagues and social events through Playtomic and its Instagram channel @mesapadelclub. Mix-ins are organised by level so newer players are not thrown in with experienced doubles partnerships.

Competitions are timed for evenings and weekends. Youth programmes run alongside the adult schedule, and the lounge area is built for staying after a match rather than packing up and leaving.

Coaching is delivered in house by Coach Justin Cvitanovic, a former NCAA Division I tennis player at Grand Canyon University, MBA graduate and Wilson padel ambassador. Private lessons, clinics and academy programmes cover beginners through advanced players - see the coaching tab for the full breakdown and current pricing.

Best for

Mesa Padel Club is the obvious first stop for anyone in the Phoenix metro area who wants to try padel without committing to a private club membership. The four-court layout, pro shop, Playtomic integration and disabled access make it welcoming for first-timers and intermediate doubles players alike.

East Valley locals get the closest dedicated padel venue, and visitors staying in Scottsdale or Tempe get an easy light-rail journey to a proper outdoor club. It is less suited to players who specifically want indoor, climate-controlled padel - all four courts are open-air, so peak summer afternoons are best avoided.
