About Padel + Pickle Club
Padel + Pickle Club is St. Louis County’s first dedicated padel venue, sitting at 1220 N Price Rd, Suite 1-A, Olivette, MO 63132. The building is just off Interstate 170 (Innerbelt) and a short drive from US-40/I-64, putting it inside a 15-minute reach of Clayton, Ladue, University City and Creve Coeur.
The flagship club opened in 2024 under co-founders Mike Puertas, Nathan Dugan, Mark Heather and Kevin Maher Jr., a group of US squash veterans with British roots who wanted to recreate a proper racquet club atmosphere in the Midwest. For background and contact details, see padelandpickleclub.com.
This is a multi-sport club, but padel sits at the front of the program with six full-size courts and a growing membership pulled from across the wider St. Louis area. The space was purpose-built rather than retrofitted, with a center-court bar, lounge seating, locker rooms and a full pro shop stocked with leading racket brands.
The padel courts
The padel side of the club has six Galis Mundial panoramic courts, all indoor, all under permanent LED lighting and climate control. Galis Mundial is a European specification with single-piece tempered glass back walls and side panels, the same court family used on the international circuit, which gives clean sightlines for spectators sitting around the center bar.
Court dimensions are regulation 20m by 10m doubles. Surface is a sand-dressed artificial turf bonded to a shock pad, which is the standard build for indoor padel and is kinder on knees over long sessions than hardcourt. With everything indoors, weather is a non-issue year-round - useful in a market that swings from humid summers to single-digit winters.
Alongside the six padel courts, the building also houses eight Cushion Master II pickleball courts, so mixed sessions and crossover events run regularly through the calendar.
Booking and access
Bookings run through CourtReserve rather than Playtomic. Members can reserve courts on CourtReserve up to seven days in advance for off-peak slots, with one 120-minute prime-time booking window per member per day. Prime time is 4pm-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-2pm on weekends, with reservations awarded first-come, first-served.
Court rental rates and membership tiers are not posted openly on the website. The venue lists pricing inside the CourtReserve portal, or by email to info@padelandpickleclub.com and phone (314) 887-4283.
Members get priority access, advance booking and inclusion in leagues and clinics. Walk-in clinics and intro sessions are the entry route for non-members who want to try padel before committing to dues.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm and Saturday to Sunday 8am to 7pm, with some flex around reservation bookings. On-site parking is complimentary and the building has a single ground-floor entry with step-free access to the courts.
Padel programme and social
The club runs a full slate of clinics, leagues, tournaments and open play sessions across the year, with the annual Padel + Pickle Open and the Summertime Classic drawing players from across the region. Mix-in nights, beginner intros and ladder leagues sit alongside private lessons booked through the pro shop.
The center-court bar and lounge is the social anchor - the Dinks and Drinks happy hour and post-league socials happen here, and the pro shop carries Bullpadel, NOX and Adidas rackets along with shoes, grips and overgrips for racket hire and on-the-spot replacements. Coaching is delivered in-house by the resident pro team, with details handled through the coaching tab.
Best for
Best for St. Louis area players who want a clubhouse experience around the sport - regular play partners, league structure, post-match drinks and a pro shop that actually stocks padel kit. Beginners are well looked after through scheduled clinics and intro sessions, and the Galis courts are a credible standard for anyone arriving with tournament experience.
Less suited to drop-in pay-and-play tourists who want one casual hit without joining - membership-led booking and limited public pricing mean a phone call ahead is sensible. Anyone after outdoor courts will need to look elsewhere, as the whole facility is indoor by design.
