40Forty Padel Club

40Forty Padel Club is South Carolina’s first dedicated padel facility, located at 15 Jenkins Court, Suite B, Mauldin, SC 29662. The Mauldin site sits in the Greenville-Spartanburg metro area of the Upstate, a short drive from I-385 and I-85.

The location is easy to reach from Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer and Spartanburg, with downtown Greenville about a 15-minute drive north up Main Street and Laurens Road. Booking runs through the Playtomic app and the venue’s own site at 40fortypadel.com.

Founded to bring the world’s fastest-growing racket sport to the Palmetto State, 40Forty pairs two padel courts with a social area, cafe and juice bar. The club is set up for drop-in players, complete beginners, and tennis or pickleball converts looking for their next racket sport.

The padel courts

The Mauldin site has two outdoor padel courts enclosed in the standard glass and steel mesh walls, with a synthetic turf surface suited to fast lateral movement and clean wall play. Courts are sized for doubles, which is the only format padel is played in, and each booking covers four players for a full 60-minute slot.

Lighting is fitted for evening play during the published hours, and rental rackets and balls are available on site so newcomers do not need their own gear. The club describes Mauldin as its first site, with a second South Carolina location announced as coming soon for the brand.

The Mauldin site uses the standard 10 by 20 metre padel court footprint, with back glass walls that bring wall play into rallies. That format makes the courts feel familiar to anyone who has watched padel on television and approachable for tennis or pickleball converts.

Booking and access at 40Forty Padel

Court bookings run on a 60-minute minimum and open seven days in advance through Playtomic. Live rates show at the booking step, with non-peak listed at $15 per player and peak at $20 per player for a 60-minute court, around $60 to $80 per court for four players.

You can book a court on Playtomic or via the site’s Book Now buttons. Winter opening hours are 9:00 to 21:00 Sunday through Thursday and 9:00 to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday, with Google Business Profile showing the same pattern.

The site is on Jenkins Court with on-site parking outside the unit. Reach the team on (864) 516-4907 or by email at info@40fortypadel.com for group bookings, private hire and event enquiries.

Padel programme and social

40Forty runs a weekly programme aimed at building the local padel community. Saturday morning hosts a Beginner’s Padel session where staff supply rackets and walk new players through the rules and basic shots in a one-hour format, ending with a short game.

Tuesday evening is Ladies’ Padel, a 60-minute intro session with limited spots. Wednesday evening hosts an All Level Mixer, a 90-minute competitive format that rotates partners and opponents through short matches.

Standard court bookings sit alongside these events for groups who want to play with their own four. The club connects players through a WhatsApp community for partner finding, news and event sign-ups, and posts updates on Instagram @40fortypadel and on its Facebook page.

Best for padel in Mauldin

40Forty Padel Club is a strong fit for beginners and curious racket sport players in the Upstate who want to try padel without buying gear, and for tennis and pickleball regulars looking to add a new format to the week. The structured intro sessions, rental kit and cafe-style social area make a first visit straightforward.

The venue is less suited to advanced competitive players chasing a high court count, indoor climate-controlled play, or a deep tournament calendar. The current site is a two-court outdoor club focused on community growth, and for most players in Greenville County it is the closest dedicated padel option.

40Forty Padel Club runs weekly intro and social sessions for new and developing players rather than formal private coaching tiers. Saturday Beginner's Padel, Tuesday Ladies' Padel and Wednesday All Level Mixer are open to bookings via the venue's Book Now links.
