Emirates Padel Center The Ritz-Carlton sits within the grounds of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal on Al Maqta Area, Khor Al Maqta, Abu Dhabi. Opened in February 2022, the centre is a partnership between Emirates Padel and the hotel, bringing professional-grade padel to one of the capital’s most recognised resort addresses.
The venue is open to hotel guests and outside visitors alike, with court bookings available seven days a week from early morning until midnight.
Emirates Padel was co-founded by professional players Fermin Ferreyra and Eugenio Ferreyra, both of whom have competed on the World Padel Tour. Their mission is to make professional padel techniques and coaching accessible to players at every level across the UAE.
The Abu Dhabi location is one of three Emirates Padel venues, alongside Danube Sports World in Dubai and Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
The padel courts
The venue has five outdoor doubles courts, all built by PadelGalis using their Mundial court model. PadelGalis is the official court supplier for the World Padel Tour, so these courts meet international competition specifications. The playing surface is crystal-grade synthetic grass, consistent across all five courts.
Each court is floodlit, allowing evening play right through to midnight. The outdoor setting means players benefit from Abu Dhabi’s cooler evening temperatures during the warmer months. Courts are numbered Padel 1 through Padel 5 and are individually bookable via Playtomic.
Booking padel and access
Court bookings are handled through Playtomic, with 60-minute and 120-minute slots available. Published rates start from AED 280 for a 60-minute session per court. That works out at AED 70 per person in a full doubles match.
Live rates and availability appear at the booking step on Playtomic, as pricing may vary by time slot and season.
The centre operates daily from 7:00 AM to midnight, giving a generous 17-hour booking window. The venue sits on the Grand Canal, accessible from the E12 Sheikh Zayed Bridge highway. The Ritz-Carlton provides complimentary valet and self-parking for all visitors.

Programme and social padel
The venue holds weekly tournaments, competitions, and mix-in events at the Ritz-Carlton location. Emirates Padel also runs structured leagues and seasonal competitions, with the Playtomic app used for player-level rating and match-making.
Coaching is a core part of the Emirates Padel offer. The centre operates a certified BELA Academy, endorsed by Fernando Belasteguin - the most successful padel player in history with 16 consecutive years as world number one.
Head coaches Fermin and Eugenio Ferreyra deliver private lessons, group sessions, and intensive camps. Junior programmes are also available, with lessons tailored for children. Full coaching details and pricing tiers are listed in the coaching tab.
After playing, the on-site Dolce Sports Cafe serves protein shakes, smoothies, kombucha, poke bowls, salads, and keto and vegan options. The cafe also broadcasts live sport. A padel pro shop sits next to the courts, stocking Adidas and Bela-branded rackets via the Emirates Padel online shop.
As a Ritz-Carlton resort venue, players can also access the hotel’s wider facilities. These include a full gym, the ESPA spa with steam room, hammam, and 15 treatment rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and private beach.
Eight restaurants cover Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Pan-Asian cuisines. Changing rooms with lockers and showers are available on site. The hotel offers wheelchair-accessible facilities throughout the property.
