Originally opened in October 2019, the site was among the first purpose-built padel venues in Australia. A $500,000 investment saw two tennis courts converted into padel courts with fittings and installation imported from Spain.
The courts
The venue has five outdoor padel courts with artificial grass surfaces. All courts are floodlit, allowing evening play through to closing time. The enclosed glass-and-mesh walls follow standard international specifications.
Equipment hire is available from reception, so beginners can turn up without their own rackets. Free parking, changing rooms with lockers and a kiosk round out the on-site amenities.
Booking and access
Courts can be booked up to seven days in advance through the MATCHi platform or via Playtomic. Off-peak hire runs at $40 per court for 60 minutes, while peak sessions - weekday evenings and all weekend - cost $54.50 per court for 60 minutes.
Split between four players, that works out to roughly $10 to $14 per person per hour. Social padel sessions cost $30 per person. Wallet credit packages offer savings of up to 20 percent on bookings.
