About Tribe Padel and Wellness

Tribe Padel and Wellness sits at 16/18 Epping Road, North Ryde NSW 2113, inside the Tennis World multisport site just off the M2 Motorway and minutes from Macquarie Park. The club brands itself as Sydney’s largest outdoor padel club, pairing five competition-spec courts with a wellness offer of sauna, ice bath and compression therapy.

It is the flagship of the Tribe group, with sister venues operating as Tribe Padel Adelaide and Tribe Padel Byron. The North Ryde site draws a mix of beginners, social regulars and competitive players from across the lower North Shore and Inner West.

Most enquiries route through the venue site at tribe.club, while court bookings have moved to Playtomic from October 2025. Email contact is hola@tribe.club and the reception line is +61 2 9888 7466.

The padel courts

Tribe Padel and Wellness operates five outdoor padel courts, named Padel 1 through Padel 5, all built to standard 20m by 10m double-court dimensions with crystal glass back walls and full-perimeter glazing. Surfaces are artificial grass to Spanish spec, sand-dressed for consistent bounce and grip in Sydney conditions.

All five courts are open-air with full-court LED floodlighting for night play through to 22:30. The five-court footprint is the largest open-air padel install in metropolitan Sydney, which makes the venue a regular host for weekend tournaments and the Aussie Padel Tour calendar.

Booking and access

Casual court hire is priced per court, not per player. A 60-minute hire is $40 off-peak (around $10 per player in a four) and $54.50 peak (around $13.60 per player). A 90-minute hire is $60 off-peak and $81.75 peak.

Off-peak runs 07:00 to 17:00 on weekdays; peak covers weekday evenings from 17:00 and all day at weekends. You can book a court on Playtomic up to two weeks ahead, with a 30-minute minimum and 120-minute maximum during peak.

A Matchi listing remains live as a legacy channel. Free on-site parking is shared with Tennis World, racket and ball hire is available at reception, and a 24-hour cancellation window applies to avoid a charge. Opening hours are 07:00 to 22:30 daily, year-round.

Padel programme and social

The social calendar centres on graded mix-ins, typically Monday and Thursday evenings, split across two levels so beginners and intermediate players are matched within their bracket. Drop-in social padel is $30 per session, with a 10-session pack at $250 for regulars.

Tournament play sits alongside the social programme. Club competitions carry a $40 entry fee, and the venue hosts open events on the Aussie Padel Tour and Padel Australia federation calendar. Coaching is delivered through the Tribe Padel Academy under head coach Nige, who represented Australia at the 2024 Masters Padel World Championships in Spain.

The on-site wellness hub is the differentiator that gives the club its name. Players have access to a sauna, ice bath, cold plunge and compression therapy boots, plus a recovery lounge for post-match cool-down.

A coffee kiosk handles food and drink, and a small pro shop at reception covers grips, overgrips and demo rackets. Step-free access from the car park makes the wellness area and courts accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility.

Best for

Tribe Padel and Wellness suits players who want genuine outdoor padel in the Sydney sun, with a wellness wrap-around that few Australian clubs match. The five-court footprint absorbs peak demand without the long waiting lists that hit smaller two-court sites.

It is less suited to players who want covered, climate-controlled courts during summer storms or winter rain, since the five courts are fully open-air. Heavy weather closes play, and the on-site cafe is a kiosk rather than a full restaurant, so longer post-match meals are better taken in nearby Macquarie Park or Chatswood.
