About Rocks Lane Barnes
Rocks Lane Barnes is a four-court outdoor padel venue at Rocks Ln, London SW13 0BY, inside the established Rocks Lane Barnes Multi Sports Centre.
Four outdoor padel courts opened 2023 added the network’s south-west London base. Padel shares the SW13 site with tennis, football and other racket sports.
The Rocks Lane Padel Membership and Academy programme match the offer at Chiswick (network flagship) and Dyrham Park.
The courts
Four outdoor panoramic courts on synthetic grass at the Multi Sports Centre. Floodlit for evening play through to closing.
Open-top, so heavy rain stops play. Opened 2023.
Booking and access
Court hire is £45 to £70 per hour through Playtomic. Rocks Lane Padel Membership unlocks reduced rates, longer advance booking and shared access across the network.
Peak weekend mornings book three to five days ahead; midweek slots stay open. Free on-site parking.
Closest stations are Barnes (rail) and Hammersmith (Circle, District, Piccadilly, H&C) via short bus from the Hammersmith Bridge area.
Programme and social
The Multi Sports Centre runs a mixed-sport calendar; padel sits inside that with weekly mix-ins, beginner socials and Academy courses through the year.
Junior camps run during school breaks. Group bookings for parties and corporate events handled directly through the centre.
Best for
South-west London players who want outdoor pay-and-play padel inside an established multi-sport club, plus access to the wider Rocks Lane network’s coaching and membership.
Less suited to anyone needing indoor-only courts - the four padel courts at Barnes are all outdoor and weather-dependent.

What players say
4.3 on Google from 135 reviews. This is the venue's Google rating, which may cover more than padel.
They’ve just had the tennis courts re-turfed…they need to bring the guys who did it back… more dead spots and lumps than ever. Court 4 is unplayable. We used new balls there was no bounce whatsoever….. when the ball did hit a lumpy hard spot it would fly off in a different direction…. For £15/hour, it isn’t worth the money.
