About Rocks Lane Chiswick
Rocks Lane Chiswick is a ten-court padel venue at 60 Chiswick Common Rd, London W4 1RZ - West London’s largest dedicated padel site and the flagship of the Rocks Lane multi-sport network.
Opened 2022 with ten panoramic courts split four indoor and six outdoor on a single Chiswick Common Road site, 200 metres from Turnham Green tube. The Rocks Lane Academy runs structured coaching across both adult and junior pathways.
Sister courts at Barnes (four outdoor) and Dyrham Park Country Club share the network’s coaching and league framework.
The courts
Ten panoramic courts: four indoor and six outdoor, all synthetic grass and built to current panoramic spec.
Indoor LED lighting runs through evening play; the outdoor six are floodlit to closing. The mix means the venue keeps running through the seasons - rain stops the outdoor courts but the indoor four stay playable year-round.
Booking and access
Court hire is £57 to £70 per hour through Playtomic. Pay-and-play is the default; Rocks Lane Padel Membership unlocks reduced rates, longer advance booking and network-wide perks.
Peak weekday evenings (17:00-21:00) and weekend mornings book five to seven days ahead; off-peak weekday slots stay open same-day. Cancellation runs through Playtomic with the standard window applied at booking.
200 metres from Turnham Green tube (District, Piccadilly); paid Chiswick Common parking on-street.
Programme and social
The wider Chiswick site is a multi-sport venue, so padel sits alongside tennis, football and the cafe-clubhouse social scene. Weekly Americanos and mix-ins run for the membership crowd.
Junior holiday camps and term-time courses cover the youth pathway, and ladder leagues operate at multiple levels.
The Academy team also runs weekend open-play tournaments and seasonal events through the year. Group bookings, corporate events and tournament hosting all run through the venue events team.
Best for
West London players who want flagship-scale dedicated padel within minutes of central, and anyone who likes a multi-sport club atmosphere with structured coaching and league play.
Less suited to anyone wanting indoor-only courts or pure walk-on play - the Rocks Lane model rewards membership regulars.
