About PDL Padel United - Bushey
PDL Padel United - Bushey sits inside Bushey Grove Leisure Centre on Aldenham Road. The three padel courts were originally outdoor and fully roofed in 2024 for year-round weather-protected play.
The build is among the most affordable covered padel options in the wider London area at £26 to £36 per hour. Sister site at Padel United Erith in South-East London.
The courts
Three covered panoramic courts on synthetic grass at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre. Indoor LED lighting through evening play. Roofed 2024, so rain never stops a session. Originally an outdoor build before the roof installation.
Booking and access
Court hire £26 to £36 an hour through MATCHi. Pay-and-play, no membership tier required for standard rates. Racket hire £2.50 per person from leisure-centre reception. Peak evening and weekend slots book three to five days ahead; midweek mornings stay open. Free parking via the leisure-centre car park. Closest stations: Bushey (rail) and Stanmore (Jubilee), both around a 10-minute drive.
Programme and social
The Bushey Grove Leisure Centre setting brings shared changing facilities and the wider site’s gym and sports calendar alongside the padel courts. Beginner intros, group lessons and Padel United social play run through the calendar. Group bookings handled directly through the venue. The covered-court advantage makes it a winter-friendly alternative to the network’s outdoor sister site at Erith.
Best for
Bushey, Watford, Stanmore and Edgware players who want the most affordable covered padel in the wider London area, year-round indoor reliability without flagship-tier pricing, and anyone needing to combine padel with the wider leisure centre’s facilities. Less suited to anyone wanting outdoor play.
