About CPASE Health Club
CPASE Health Club is an adults-only luxury boutique gym at Faulkner’s Lane, Great Warford, Knutsford WA16 7RN, set in rural Cheshire roughly five minutes from Knutsford town and a short drive from junctions 18 and 19 of the M6.
The club trades as Clare’s Space Boutique Health Clubs and has scooped the National Fitness Awards’ Health Club of the Year and Boutique Facility of the Year, alongside UK Active’s Regional Club of the Year, making it one of the most decorated independent clubs in the North West.
Its CPASE Padel Park sits at the centre of the recent expansion, with two purpose-built courts wrapped around a dedicated Padel Shack serving hot and cold drinks and the full April’s Kitchen menu courtside.
The padel offer is woven into a five-star wellness setting that includes a UV-light pool, hydrotherapy, cryotherapy, infrared sauna and three concept studios, so a court session naturally rolls into recovery and food.
Visit the venue at cpase.co.uk, browse padel availability on the club’s Playtomic tenant, or call reception on 01565 332022 to discuss membership and padel access at the club.
The padel courts
CPASE Padel Park houses two padel courts built to the standard 20m x 10m dimensions, with full glass back walls, panoramic side panels and LED floodlighting for evening play.
PAD 1 is an open-air court reserved for CPASE members, who can play up to five matches per week as part of their AAA membership package. PAD 2 sits beneath a canopy cover, giving year-round protection from Cheshire weather, and members may invite non-member guests aged 14 and over onto it.
The court surface is artificial turf with sand infill, the FIP-recognised playing surface used across UK competition padel. Sightlines from the Padel Shack viewing area cover both courts, which works well for spectating during club socials and informal tournaments.
Booking and access
Padel access at CPASE is members-first rather than pay-and-play. Court bookings for PAD 1 and PAD 2 are released through the club’s Playtomic tenant, with the calendar visible to confirmed members once they have logged in.
Members can also reserve over the phone via reception on 01565 332022 or in person at the front desk. Guest visits to PAD 2 are arranged by the host member at the point of booking, and any guest fees, cancellation windows and peak-time policies are confirmed at that step.
The club is open Monday to Friday from 06:15 to 22:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 06:15 to 18:00. Padel slots run throughout the day, with daily socials slotted in alongside member bookings.
Programme and social padel
CPASE runs daily padel socials across both courts. They are designed as drop-in mixers where members can meet new partners, develop tactically and play in a relaxed, lightly coached format suited to a range of levels.
The in-house CPASE Padel Park team handles match-making for solo players. Staff are on hand to introduce newcomers to the sport, recommend pairings by level and run informal on-court guidance during quieter daytime slots.
Members can request private padel coaching through the club’s elite personal trainer roster, and tournaments and ladder events run alongside the wider CPASE Connect social calendar. The Padel Shack is the heartbeat of post-match life, with smoothies, coffee and the full April’s Kitchen brunch menu available courtside.
Best for
CPASE Health Club is best suited to Cheshire-based players who want their padel embedded in a premium wellness club rather than a stand-alone facility. The adults-only environment, members-only PAD 1, age-14-plus rule on PAD 2 and limited-membership model keep court access uncluttered.
The on-site spa, restaurant and recovery suite turn a one-hour booking into a full half-day. Visiting non-members can experience the padel courts as guests of a member, making CPASE a strong fit for friends, family or business contacts wanting a memorable padel-and-lunch session a short drive from Manchester, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge.
