Eixo Padel

Eixo Padel is a seven-court padel club at Unit 34, Neaves Park, Gatehouse Hub, Goddards Green, Hassocks BN6 9ZN. The venue sits just off the A23 between Burgess Hill and Hurstpierpoint in Mid Sussex.

The club is pitched as a community-first home for eixo padel padel in West Sussex, with a mix of indoor and outdoor courts, a dedicated kids’ padbol court, on-site parking and a coffee bar serving Back Yard Coffee, smoothies and beer from With Love Brewery. Full venue information lives on the Eixo Padel website.

Goddards Green puts the club within easy reach of Hassocks station (around two miles), Burgess Hill (three miles), Brighton (twelve miles via the A23) and Crawley to the north, making it practical for players commuting in from across Mid Sussex and the Brighton catchment.

The padel courts

The club operates seven courts in total. Indoors there are three doubles courts (Courts 1, 7 and one further covered double) plus one indoor singles court (Court 2), giving year-round play that is unaffected by Sussex weather.

Outdoors there are two doubles courts (Courts 4 and 5) and one singles court (Court 6). A dedicated indoor kids’ padbol court (Court 3) sits alongside the main courts and is used for junior coaching and family bookings, which is unusual for a UK club of this size.

A viewing platform overlooks the courts so spectators, parents and waiting players can watch matches in progress without leaving the venue.

Booking and access for eixo padel padel

All court bookings are handled through Playtomic - you can book a court on Playtomic in the app or web. Live rates are shown at the booking step and vary by court type, day and time, with standard 60-minute and 90-minute slots available.

The platform lets you reserve a court alone and invite guests later, with costs split equally among players. The venue runs as pay-and-play with no membership required. Opening hours on Playtomic are 07:00 to 22:00 daily, with the public-facing website listing 08:00 to 22:00.

Bookings can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before the slot. On-site facilities include free parking, changing rooms, lockers and free WiFi. Rental rackets are available from the pro shop at £5 per racket and balls can be added for a small fee.

For non-court enquiries, private hire and corporate events, the venue can be reached on 01444 223767 or by email at info@eixopadel.com.

Programme and social padel

Eixo Padel runs an academy programme through Playtomic with group sessions pitched at New to Padel, Improver and Intermediate levels, led by coach Neil Partington and running for 60 minutes. Academy class entry starts from around £10 and rises to roughly £20 depending on tier.

Private one-to-one lessons can be arranged by contacting the venue directly through the contact form. The social side is built around regular Monday Americano competitions priced from £10 per player, with results and future events shared via the venue’s WhatsApp group and Instagram.

The club has not launched a formal league yet but flags planned updates as the membership base grows. Private, corporate and schools hire is offered, with single-court, multi-court and full seven-court exclusivity options.

Best for padel in Mid Sussex

The club is a strong fit for Mid Sussex and Brighton-area players who want indoor-outdoor flexibility, beginners taking their first coached sessions, families looking for a junior padel option through the kids’ padbol court, and corporate groups wanting whole-venue hire.

The on-site coffee bar, viewing platform and forthcoming gym and wellness centre also make it a good base for longer social mornings rather than turn-up-and-leave bookings. Players who want a fully established league structure may find the programme is still maturing, but the academy, Americanos and pay-and-play model already cover most weekly play needs.
