Padel Haus DUMBO is a four-court indoor padel venue at 257 Water Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, in a converted warehouse five blocks from the Manhattan Bridge.
Opened August 2023 as the second NYC site for the Padel Haus US chain (founded 2022 by Santiago Gomez and Federico Cribiore), DUMBO covers 24,000 sq ft and sits in the Padel Haus network alongside Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
The courts
Four indoor padel courts on synthetic turf with glass walls and full LED floodlighting. The 32-foot soundproofed ceilings give generous overhead clearance for lobs and acoustic comfort across all four courts.
The climate-controlled hall keeps weather out year-round. Surface follows the Padel Haus network specification - the same playing feel as the Williamsburg and Greenpoint sister venues. Storage for bags and equipment plus on-site racket rental for walk-in players.
Booking and access
Court hire runs through the Padel Haus internal system at bookings.padel.haus - create an account, pick your slot, pay online. No Playtomic at any Padel Haus site.
Standard non-member court hire is $55 per person per hour following the network rate. Membership tiers start at around $155 per month with priority booking and discounted rates. The booking flow auto-rates new players via a quick questionnaire to feed them into skill-matched open play.
The venue is open Monday to Friday 07:00 to 23:00 and weekends 08:00 to 22:00. The Water Street location sits a short walk from the F train (York Street) and the A/C trains (High Street). On-site parking and metered street parking nearby. Direct enquiries via +1 646-381-2232.
Programme and social
In-house coaching runs through the Padel Haus Academy - the same program operating across all US network sites. Beginner clinics (levels 1.0 to 1.29), intermediate technique sessions and advanced tournaments via the booking portal.
Adult master classes follow the network standard of around $90 per session with lower rates for entry-level group sessions. Junior programming for ages 4 to 12 runs through the Tennis Innovators partnership common to all Padel Haus sites.
Members get social play nights, leagues and weekend clinics. The on-site cafe serves coffee and light bites. The pro shop stocks rackets, shoes and apparel for purchase plus equipment rental. Spa-style locker rooms with premium grooming products.
Best for
Brooklyn players in the DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights and Vinegar Hill corridor who want indoor year-round padel with the integrated Padel Haus club model. Short walk from the F and A/C trains plus the Manhattan Bridge crossing.
Members get cross-access to the wider Padel Haus network including Atlanta and Nashville. Less suited to anyone wanting outdoor rooftop play - that experience sits at the Williamsburg flagship.

a month agoSooooo expensive. This is the most expensive venue to play padel in the world, I honestly don’t think I’m exaggerating. I’ve played in Dubai and London and they don’t come close to these costs. The courts are standard and good quality. The social environment isn’t anything special. The beer selection is good though 🍻credit for having Estrella on tap. The app is easy to use and intuitive and both Padel Haus venues have a lot on 👍 Staff are lovely and so are the smoothies. Just to put prices in perspective a private lesson in Mallorca, Spain with a pro player was 1/3 the cost of Padel Haus. €60 vs $200. OR Booking full court for 90mins in Central London costs £90 compared to in Padel Haus, Dumbo for 60mins cost $313.52. Would be 4⭐️ if it wasn’t for the crazy costs.

2 months agoWe stopped by this location as we were in the area for another event. We had just landed in NYC and my kids were tired and hungry, and there was nothing else around. We asked if we could just have a rest and order some smoothies while we waited for our next event, even though we weren't members. The staff were so kind and the smoothies were amazing - you saved us! Thank you so much for being accommodating!

3 months agoPadel was a perfect cross between tennis, paddle, and racketball! A great experience in a well-run facility with friendly staff. I’d recommend the blueberry cobbler smoothie to anyone!
