About Pop’s Padel
Pop’s Padel is an indoor padel club at 103 Mill Rd, Freeport, NY 11520, USA. It has five indoor courts, including one singles court, open 7am to 11pm daily, with doubles courts from $160 per court per hour booked on Playtomic.
Pop’s Padel opened in 2026 in Freeport on Long Island, with easy access off the Meadowbrook Parkway. For more places to play across the area, see the padel courts in Long Island.
Pop’s Padel is a padel-only venue: good indoor courts, a lounge that looks onto the play, and a coaching team led by a former college tennis player. The weather never decides whether a booking goes ahead, and the hours are long enough for a session before work or late in the evening.
The padel courts
All five courts at Pop’s Padel are indoors, so rain, wind and winter cold make no difference to a session. The doubles courts use panoramic, frameless glass walls, which give a clean view of the rally from the lounge and keep the rebound off the glass true.
The playing surface on every court is pro-grade turf. It suits the slower, controlled game most club players enjoy, and it gives steady footing for the quick lateral movement padel asks for at the net.
The fifth court at Pop’s Padel is a dedicated singles court. It is built for two-player matches, drills and lessons, so a pair can book a session without finding a full four, and coaches can use it for focused one-to-one work away from the doubles courts.
Booking and access
Every court at Pop’s Padel is booked through Playtomic, using the club’s own Playtomic page or the app. Courts open for booking up to 14 days ahead, and a booking can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the start time.
Prices at Pop’s Padel are the same at all times, from 7am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday. There is no separate off-peak rate. The doubles courts start from $160 per court per hour, which works out at $40 each when four players share the court.
- Doubles court, Monday to Sunday 7am to 11pm: $160 for 60 minutes, $240 for 90 minutes, $300 for 120 minutes
- Singles court, Monday to Sunday 7am to 11pm: $100 for 60 minutes, $150 for 90 minutes
Parking at Pop’s Padel is free and on site, with easy access off the Meadowbrook Parkway. Freeport LIRR station is 0.8 miles from the club, so the train is a practical option for players coming from further along the line.
Rackets and balls are available to rent at the front desk, so a first visit needs nothing more than trainers and sportswear. The pro shop stocks rackets, apparel and accessories from top brands for players ready to buy their own kit.
Inside, the lounge has wall-to-wall glass onto the courts and sport on screens, with cold drinks and light fare. The men’s and women’s locker rooms have secure lockers, benches and complimentary toiletries. There are no showers yet. Wifi is available throughout.
Programme and social
Coaching is led by Pepe Miralles, Director of Padel and Head Padel Professional at Pop’s Padel, a former NCAA Division I tennis player at Eastern Kentucky University. Private lessons run for 60 or 90 minutes and suit every level, from a first session to match preparation.
Weekly group clinics take 4 to 8 players, grouped by level. Advanced development sessions are for players at level 3.5 and above, and private group or team sessions can be booked for friends or colleagues who want to train together.
New players start with beginner sessions, the Beginner Introduction for level 0 to 1. Each session teaches the rules, grips, the serve, playing off the glass and basic strategy, which is everything needed to join a social game with confidence.
Free Open Play sessions are open to all levels, with 16 spots per session, and open-play nights are announced through The Pop’s List email. Leagues start from January 2027, and tournaments, Americano nights and Friday-night mixers are on the way.
Pop’s Padel also hosts corporate outings, team building, birthdays and private parties, which makes it a useful option for a group day out with some sport built in. Pop’s Padel posts news on its website and Instagram.
Best for
Pop’s Padel is best for players on Long Island who want to play indoors all year with free parking on site. The singles court is a strong draw for pairs and for anyone who wants to drill with a coach without booking a full doubles court.
Beginners are well looked after, with rental rackets at the front desk, the Beginner Introduction and free Open Play. Before a first booking, the beginner’s guide to padel explains the rules and scoring in plain terms.
