Rackets

Which Varlion racket is right for you?

Varlion makes three main shapes. The LW is round, the Maxima is a teardrop and the Bourne is a diamond. REGA is the top line, the Pro Summum and Advanced lines sit below it, and ITSV rackets are for beginners. Many models come in W and S versions, and Varlion says the W core is for temperatures below 25°C, which suits most UK play.

Balls and bags

What else does Varlion make?

Balls and bags

Varlion makes its own Summum Pro balls, in W and S versions. Its official shop sells them in boxes of 24 cans.

It also makes padel bags and backpacks. Varlion made padel shoes in the past, but there are none in its shop at the moment, and our partner shops don't stock Varlion balls or bags right now.

Our padel ball guide

Varlion has designed its own rackets since 1994, a year after it was founded.

What do W and S mean on Varlion rackets?

They are two versions of the same racket. Varlion says the W core is for playing below 25°C and the S core is for playing above 25°C. It has made rackets this way since 2018.

What is the Varlion REGA line?

REGA is Varlion's top line, launched in 2025. The Bourne Cube Elbowcare S, a diamond-shaped power racket, was €327.19 at the official Varlion shop when we checked on 2 October 2026.

Where can I buy Varlion padel gear in the UK?

Neither Padel Nuestro nor Padel Market had Varlion rackets, balls or bags in stock when we checked on 2 October 2026. The official Varlion shop sells the full range in euros and lists the United Kingdom as a delivery country. Varlion advises buying only from its official shop and authorised sellers.
