Al Forsan Padel Tennis

Al Forsan Padel Tennis sits inside Al Forsan International Sports Resort on the intersection of 12th and 15th Streets, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi 42632. The resort spans 1.6 square kilometres and lies roughly ten minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport and the ADNEC exhibition centre.

Al Forsan Padel Tennis padel is operated by A PADEL, the same brand behind four other venues across the emirate. The facility offers nine bookable courts on crystal surfaces across indoor and outdoor settings.

Padel arrived at Al Forsan with a set of outdoor courts beside the wakeboarding lake. The resort expanded in July 2022 with a purpose-built indoor facility housing six climate-controlled courts.

The indoor building includes its own changing rooms, a cafe with a seating area, and a retail store selling padel equipment. Players benefit from the wider resort campus, which holds restaurants, a 25-metre swimming pool, a gymnasium with sauna and steam room, and free parking.

The padel courts

Al Forsan has nine doubles courts split across two areas. Seven are indoor courts under a permanent roof - Courts 1 through 5, a VIP court and a private court - while two outdoor courts sit beside the resort’s man-made lake. All nine use crystal-grade synthetic turf, the surface of choice for competitive play in the UAE heat.

The indoor courts are climate-controlled, making summer sessions comfortable even during peak Abu Dhabi temperatures. LED lighting covers the indoor halls, and the outdoor courts are floodlit for evening play. Every court is a standard doubles size and bookable online through Playtomic in 60, 90 or 120-minute slots.

The VIP indoor court offers a more private setting, and Court 6 is labelled as a private hire option on the booking system. Both are useful for coaching sessions, corporate events or groups wanting a dedicated space away from the main hall.

Booking and access

Courts are open daily from 08:00 to midnight. You can book a court on Playtomic or call the resort on 800 9900. On-site payment is accepted on all nine courts, so walk-ins are possible when slots are free.

Morning sessions start from around AED 147 per court for 60 minutes, which works out to roughly AED 37 per person in a standard four-player game. Peak and evening rates rise to around AED 240 per court (AED 60 per person). Ninety-minute and two-hour bookings are available at scaled rates through the Playtomic app.

The cancellation policy requires at least 12 hours notice for a full refund. Early-bird players can take advantage of reduced morning rates, and some periods include complimentary pool access as part of the court booking.

Programme and social

Al Forsan runs regular social play sessions, including a Padel Tennis Social Friday open to all levels. These mix-in events are a good entry point for newer players looking to find regular partners in the Abu Dhabi padel community.

The venue runs coaching through its padel programme - see the coaching tab for tiers and pricing. Coaching sessions can be booked on the VIP or private courts for a more focused environment.

The padel building has its own retail store stocking rackets, balls, grips and accessories. You can pick up equipment before or after a match without leaving the facility.

The wider resort holds four dining venues - Kishi (Japanese), Como (Italian), Wave (lakeside) and Pool Cafe - all within walking distance of the courts.

Al Forsan is part of the A PADEL network, which also operates venues at Al Fahid Beach Club, Park Hyatt Saadiyat, Rebound and Yas Plaza across Abu Dhabi. Players familiar with one A PADEL venue will find the same booking system and court standards at Al Forsan.

Best for

Al Forsan suits players who want padel as part of a broader sporting day out. The resort setting means you can combine a court session with a swim, a gym workout, a meal at one of four restaurants, or even karting and wakeboarding. Families benefit from the range of activities available on the same campus.

The nine-court setup handles group bookings and corporate events well, especially with the VIP and private court options. Morning rates from AED 147 make it one of the more affordable indoor options in Abu Dhabi for off-peak play.

Players who prefer a dedicated padel-only environment may find the multi-sport resort layout means a longer walk from the car park to the courts. The outdoor courts beside the lake are exposed to the elements, and stray balls can roll toward the water. For pure indoor play in peak summer, the seven covered courts are the better choice.
