About The Town Padel

The Town Padel is Coffs Harbour’s first dedicated padel club, at 61 West High Street, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450, inside the Key Community Group complex. The venue sits a short drive from the Pacific Highway and the Coffs Harbour CBD.

Founded by Roberto and Dana, a Spanish-Australian couple who opened the doors in 2025, the club has been built as a community-focused home for padel on the NSW Mid North Coast. You can read their story on the venue website.

The pair set out to give Coffs Harbour a proper, purpose-built place to play, with quality courts, friendly coaching and a relaxed clubhouse feel. The result is three indoor courts, a cafe and bar, shaded seating, showers, a pro shop and a kids’ play zone, all under one roof.

The padel courts

The Town Padel has three full-size padel courts, all indoor and fully glass-walled, which keeps play fast and consistent regardless of Coffs Harbour’s coastal weather. The enclosed glass back walls allow rebound play and give spectators a clear view from the cafe seating above.

Courts are bookable in 60-minute blocks for doubles play, with up to four players sharing the court. Complimentary racket hire is included with court bookings as an opening offer, so newcomers can turn up without kit. Balls are sold separately from the on-site pro shop.

Booking and access for padel

Court hire is charged as a flat rate per court, so the per-person cost drops as you add players. Off-peak court hire, from 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, is $40 per court, or $10 per person with four players.

Peak hours, from 4pm to 9pm Monday to Friday, are $52 per court, or $13 per person. Weekend court hire is $48 per court, or $12 per person across Saturday and Sunday. There is free on-site parking at the end of the complex driveway.

Bookings are made through the venue’s own platform, with web and mobile app options powered by Bookandgo. You can book a court online, create an open match to find players, or join an existing social.

The cancellation policy is straightforward: more than 24 hours’ notice gives a full credit voucher, while later cancellations are non-refundable. Wet weather closures are credited the following day. The club operates a no-membership, pay-and-play model.

Programme and social padel

Socials are the heart of midweek play at The Town Padel. Weekly coach-led sessions are grouped by level, with a Beginner Social, Beginner Plus, Ladies Morning Social, Intermediate Division Play and Advanced Social on the schedule.

Social sessions run for 90 minutes at $20 per person and include racket hire and balls, so the format suits both new players and regulars looking for a hit. The venue also runs a free 30-minute Learn to Play introductory session for anyone new to padel or racket sports.

Coaching, group sessions and corporate bookings are available alongside the social calendar - see the coaching tab for tiers and pricing. The on-site bar and cafe make it easy to stay on for a drink after play, and the kids’ play zone keeps younger family members occupied while parents are on court. The weekly socials and coaching ladder give regulars a clear path to improve, while the cafe, bar and shaded seating add a clubhouse feel that suits friends and family groups.

Players hunting for outdoor sun-and-sea padel, late-night sessions past 9pm or a high-volume tournament programme may want a larger metropolitan venue. For everyone else in the region, this is the local home for the sport.
