Indoor Padel Northern Beaches

Indoor Padel Northern Beaches brings year-round padel to Sydney’s Northern Beaches from a converted warehouse at Warehouse 2, 4-10 Inman Road, Cromer NSW 2099. The venue is part of the Indoor Padel Australia network, which also runs a flagship facility in Alexandria.

Cromer sits just off South Creek Road, with easy access from Pittwater Road and Warringah Road. The club is reachable from Dee Why, Manly, Narrabeen, Mona Vale and surrounding suburbs.

Opened in late 2024, the Northern Beaches location fills a gap for players north of the Harbour Bridge who previously had to travel south. The warehouse setting keeps conditions consistent regardless of weather, wind or sun glare. The facility operates seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The courts

The venue features four indoor doubles courts fitted with SynLawn CoolPlay synthetic grass. This surface is designed for consistent ball bounce and reduced heat underfoot. Each court is enclosed with the standard glass and mesh walls required for competitive padel.

Indoor LED lighting covers all four courts evenly, eliminating shadows and allowing play well into the evening. Court three is listed on Playtomic as a synthetic group court, occasionally used for drills and coaching sessions.

All four courts are suitable for standard doubles play. The indoor environment means no weather cancellations or seasonal restrictions throughout the year.

Booking and access

All court bookings run through the Playtomic app. Search for “Indoor Padel Northern Beaches” to view live availability and reserve a slot. The standard day rate is $50 per court for a 90-minute session, which works out to $12.50 per person when split four ways.

The IPA Wallet system offers savings for regular players. Loading $100 gives a 5% bonus, $200 adds a $20 bonus, and $300 adds a $45 bonus. Wallet funds never expire, even if a membership lapses. Using the wallet also avoids Playtomic booking fees.

Racket hire is $7 and a tube of three balls costs $3. These are available from the kiosk during staffed hours or from automated lockers at other times.

Staffed hours run from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays and 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM on weekends. Outside these windows, gate access codes appear automatically in Playtomic match details for after-hours entry.

The cancellation policy allows a full refund up to 48 hours before your booking, extended to 24 hours for members. Contact the venue at 0478 815 899 or email hello@indoorpadel.com.au.

Free parking is available at the Northern Beaches Business Park, with the underground car park entrance off Inman Road. The venue is close to the 606N bus route along South Creek Road.

Programme and social

Weekly drills classes run in small groups of three to four players, priced at $55 per session. Sessions cover beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, with focused coaching on technique, movement and match understanding.

A dedicated women’s drills and wellness session runs for 90 minutes. It includes a warm-up, coached padel, fitness drills, stretching and healthy snacks. All levels are welcome.

The venue runs coaching through its IPA Academy - see the coaching tab for tiers and pricing. Social nights and weekly activities are held at both the Northern Beaches and Alexandria locations, with spots opening every Monday at 8:30 AM on Playtomic.

Indoor Padel Australia hosts the Nations Cup 2026, a social tournament with a party atmosphere, scheduled for 30 May 2026. The venue also participates in the Australian Padel Open and Australian Padel Tour.

Mega clinics in 16 and 32-player formats and members’ night events add further competitive and social options. A small pro shop stocks padel gear and merchandise, with members receiving 10% off purchases.

A cafeteria and vending machines provide refreshments on site. Changing rooms with lockers are available, and the venue offers WiFi throughout the facility.

Best for

Indoor Padel Northern Beaches is ideal for Northern Beaches residents who want a dedicated indoor padel facility without the drive to Alexandria or the inner city. The warehouse format suits players who prefer reliability over an open-air setting.

The coaching programmes and weekly drills cater well to beginners picking up the sport and intermediates looking to sharpen their game. Competitive players benefit from tournament access and year-round training without weather interruptions.

The venue is less suited to anyone seeking outdoor courts, a resort-style setting or extensive non-padel facilities like a gym or pool.

The IPA Academy runs private and group coaching at all levels, alongside weekly drills classes in small groups and a dedicated women's drills and wellness session.
