The club opened in 2025 after Cheshire West and Chester Council approved plans for three padel courts on the leisure estate. The setting is unusual for a padel venue - a working glamping and holiday site with shops, food outlets and a play park - so it feels more like a day out than a typical sports club.

Its mission is community-led: bring health, well-being and social connection to the Lady Heyes site. Opening hours run from 7am to 10pm every day, giving early-bird players, lunchtime regulars and after-work groups a long booking window.

The padel courts

Frodsham Padel Club has three outdoor, double, panoramic courts. The panoramic design uses larger glass walls with fewer support posts, which improves sightlines for spectators and gives a cleaner rebound off the back glass. All three courts are floodlit, so evening sessions run on the same conditions as midday games.

The courts are fully exposed to Cheshire weather - there is no covered structure - so heavy rain can interrupt play. The flip side is the open setting, with views across the wooded grounds of Lady Heyes and the surrounding farmland.

Booking and access

All padel courts are booked through Playtomic, either via the app or the website. Live rates show at the booking step and at the time of writing sit between approximately £24 and £34 per court hour, with off-peak weekday slots cheaper than weekend and evening peaks.

Standard sessions are 60 or 90 minutes and the system handles cancellations and refunds inside the booking flow. Racket hire is available at reception, which is useful for first-time visitors or guests staying on the holiday park.

The club runs a mix of organised sessions alongside open bookings. Mix-ins and social play are part of the weekly calendar, helping newer players find regular partners and intermediate players keep a steady game count.
