About Powerleague Shoreditch
Powerleague Shoreditch is a three-court outdoor padel venue at Braithwaite Street, opposite Shoreditch High Street Station, London E1 6GJ.
Powerleague turned a five-a-side football pitch into three open-top padel courts 30 seconds from Shoreditch High Street, and it has become one of zone 1’s busiest after-work spots.
Sessions start at £11 per person for a 60 or 90-minute social slot, full courts run £50 to £60 an hour. The on-site Babolat pro shop, cafe and bar make for an easy hit-and-stay setup.
The courts
Three outdoor panoramic courts on the converted five-a-side football site, full glass walls and synthetic grass.
LED floodlighting runs to 23:00. Open-top, so play stops in heavy rain. One of the three is configured as a disabled-access court.
Booking and access
Court hire is £50 to £60 per hour through Playtomic, with social £11-per-person sessions for shorter slots. Pay-and-play is the default - no membership tier.
Peak weekday evenings (17:00-21:00) and weekend mornings book five to seven days ahead; off-peak midweek slots usually go same-day.
Shoreditch High Street station is a 30-second walk; no on-site parking, limited metered street bays on Bethnal Green Road.
Programme and social
Powerleague runs mix-ins, beginner socials and intro programmes through Playtomic week-round, with the cafe and bar open through evening play.
The site shares the wider Powerleague football complex, with changing rooms, showers, lockers and a disabled-access court available alongside the padel.
Sister venue at Powerleague Romford. The on-site Babolat pro shop carries rackets and accessories for purchase or rental.
Best for
Post-work social padel, beginners trying the sport for the first time, and anyone who wants a quick hit in central London without trekking out to a destination club.
Less suited to serious competitive players who want covered courts or league play.
