About Alma Padel

Alma Padel is a resort-style padel club at 2300 Ridge Drive, Glenview, IL 60025, just off Waukegan Road. The site is a short drive from I-94 (Edens Expressway) and the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), making it easy to reach from the North Shore and Chicago.

The club opened in 2025 as the North Shore’s first dedicated padel venue, founded by Glenview native Abigail McCulloch. It is pitched as a Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary that blends competition-level padel with a hospitality-first lounge experience. Visit the venue site at almapadel.com for the latest schedule and events.

Inside, padel at Alma Padel sits alongside social lounges, event rooms, a golf simulator, a cafe and cocktail bar, sauna suites, and a fitness area. The programme is set up for everyone from first-timers to competitive league players, with intro clinics, weekly socials, member open play, and amateur tournaments.

The padel courts

Alma Padel runs five indoor padel courts inside a purpose-built hall with 30-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and expansive dock doors. The doors open in warmer months for an airy, semi-outdoor feel while the permanent roof keeps every session weather-proof.

The build is competition-spec panoramic glass with LED lighting designed for evening play and broadcast-friendly clarity. Because the courts are fully indoor, padel continues year round regardless of Chicago winters, and the lounge sightlines let spectators watch comfortably from the cafe bar above court level.

Booking and access

Court reservations run through PlayByPoint at book.almapadel.com, with a 14-day priority booking window for members and a shorter window for non-members. The club is open to members and walk-up players alike, and the booking calendar shows live availability across the week.

Non-member court time is $32 per person for 60 minutes or $48 per person for 90 minutes. A 60-minute booking for four non-members works out to about $128 per court, with 90 minutes around $192 per court for a full doubles group.

Members pay $20 per person per hour, so a doubles match lands closer to $80 per court. Drop-in socials and mix-ins are $40 per person and intro clinics are $40 per hour per person. Racket hire is $5 standard or $15 premium, and balls are provided.

Memberships start at around $65 per month and include free open play, free equipment rental, free sauna and golf-bay use, 1.5 hours of complimentary court time per month, priority registration, and discounts on leagues, tournaments, and private lessons.

Parking is free on site, entry is step-free, and the building has accessible restrooms, showers, and lockers. For bookings, leagues, or private events, call the team on (847) 404-9492 or email play@almapadel.com.

Programme and social padel

Alma Padel runs a full calendar of social and competitive play. The weekly mix includes open-play sessions, themed socials, ladies’ nights, beginner intros, and seasonal leagues for intermediate and advanced players. Amateur tournaments run through the year for members and guests.

Beyond padel, the club leans into its lounge and event spaces with community nights such as Mahjong Mondays, Margarita Madness, Power Yoga, and Euchre Nights. The cafe and cocktail bar are open through the day for post-match food, espresso, and drinks, and the pro shop carries rackets, balls, and apparel.

Coaching is delivered by an in-house Padel Pro team covering private lessons, paired sessions, and group clinics. Full tiers and pricing live in the coaching tab on this listing.

Best for padel in Glenview

Alma Padel is best for North Shore residents and Chicago players who want competition-level indoor padel paired with a real social and hospitality offer. It suits members who play multiple times a week and families looking for junior-friendly intro sessions.

It also works well for event organisers needing a private space with food and drinks. It is less suited to walk-up players chasing bargain off-peak slots or anyone wanting outdoor-only play.

What players say

Great facilities and an amazing community. I’m from Madrid, where padel is one of the most popular sports, and honestly, the courts at Alma are as good as, if not better than, some of the best courts you’ll find in Madrid. What makes Alma even better is the community they’re building. Everyone is welcoming, it’s easy to meet people and find games, and there’s a great atmosphere every time you go. It feels like much more than just a place to play padel. If you’re looking to play padel in Chicago, I’d definitely recommend Alma.
