About Padel N9NE
Padel N9NE sits at 9955 Barnes Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121, inside the SD Tech Center by Alexandria in Sorrento Valley, two minutes from the I-805 and within easy reach of I-5 and Mira Mesa Boulevard for players coming from La Jolla, Del Mar, and downtown San Diego.
The club opened with a soft launch in April 2025 and full clubhouse launch in August 2025, founded by Aaron Hasnain and Frederik Wittrup Andersen with Alexandria Real Estate Equities. It is the largest dedicated padel facility in the San Diego region, with premium membership play balanced by walk-in access. Full programme details are on padeln9ne.com.
The padel courts
Padel N9NE runs eight regulation outdoor courts laid out across the campus, with two designated stadium courts featuring heated tiered seating for up to 500 spectators. The stadium courts host exhibition matches, league finals, and the venue’s headline tournaments, while the other six courts handle daily open play, clinics, and league fixtures.
All courts are full panoramic builds with seamless glass back walls and high-output LED floodlighting, which keeps shadows minimal across late-evening bookings under the Southern California sky. The outdoor layout takes advantage of the mild San Diego climate, with year-round playable conditions and brief weather closures only during the rare winter storm.
An on-site pro shop carries rackets and balls for purchase, demo paddles for players still choosing a frame, and racket rental at the front desk for drop-in sessions. Complimentary high-speed WiFi covers the courts, lounge, and clubhouse, and a viewing balcony with firepits overlooks the stadium courts for between-set recovery.
Booking padel and access
Court bookings run through the proprietary Padel N9NE app on iOS and Android or via the web portal at book.padeln9ne.com. Slots are 90 minutes by default, with non-member rates at $45 for off-peak and $180 for prime time on a court basis, and member play included in monthly dues.
Opening hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, which works for both early morning sessions before the commute and late-evening play after work in the surrounding tech corridor. Phone reservations are also accepted on (858) 732-9014 during clubhouse hours.
Parking is at the adjacent Floral Parking Garage at 9855 Scranton Road with EV charging on site, plus secondary parking at the Karl Strauss lot at 9675 Scranton Road. The campus is roughly twenty minutes from downtown San Diego and ten minutes from UC San Diego, making it an accessible destination across the metro area.
Programme and social padel
The weekly schedule combines level-based clinics, structured open play sessions, women’s-only mornings, beginner-friendly Padel 101 intro classes, and curated social mixers for members and guests. The venue also runs in-house tournaments and ladder events through the year, with the stadium courts staging finals and exhibition matches against visiting professionals.
Memberships split into two tiers. P9 Standard at $199 monthly plus a $499 initiation covers unlimited court time across all eight courts, capped at 400 members. P9 Plus at $349 monthly adds full access to the 45,000 square foot wellness facility with climbing walls, golf simulators, sauna, cold plunge, and recovery suite (capped at 150 members).
Coaching is delivered by an in-house team with private lessons, group clinics, and themed events posted weekly on the app. Members get four annual guest passes plus discounted lesson rates, executive locker room access with towel service, and priority booking ahead of the public release window. Email info@padeln9ne.com for membership enquiries, corporate events, or coaching packages.

What players say
4.8 on Google from 80 reviews. This is the venue's Google rating, which may cover more than padel.
I recently asked about membership, and the experience was awful. The courts are open daily, but the fitness center isn’t, and the place is overcrowded on weekends. While talking to the front desk to understand membership options, someone—maybe staff—shoved the membership sheet right in my face. I didn’t even know how to respond. Beyond that, the overall vibe wasn’t welcoming. It felt like people were entitled and not genuine. For the price, you’d expect a far friendlier, more genuine environment. Not worth it.
I have taken two different clinics here and both times it was really good introduction to padel. The facilities seem to be top notch! Something weird that doesn't relate to padel is that at least on the weekends if you park in the parking structure you can't get back in without going some back way through the padel n9ne front desk.
This is a top notch facility!...wish they were building more courts instead of an oversized gym though!
Greatest club around! The best facilities, the best staff, the best programming, the best community.
