Head Evo Speed vs Head Vibe 2026, Which Head Racket to Buy

Head Evo Speed vs Head Vibe 2026, Which Head Racket to Buy
The short answer

For most beginners and improvers, the Head Vibe 2026 is the better buy than the Head Evo Speed padel racket: it is the current 2026 model, a 350 g fibreglass teardrop with a Power Foam core and a 265 mm balance on Head’s figures, at £57.51 at Padel Nuestro or £77.99 at Padel Market. The Evo Speed 2025 is the value pick at £54.17, and Head had not released an Evo Speed 2026 as of November 2026. The two are close on paper, so buy whichever is cheaper on the day. Head Evo Speed or Head Vibe: which should you buy?

The Head Evo Speed and the Head Vibe are two rackets from the entry end of Head’s 2026 padel racket line-up, both for beginner to intermediate players, and on paper they are very close. Both are 350 g teardrops with a fibreglass face, a flat surface and a soft foam core, and both sold for under £100 at UK retailers in November 2026.

Head had not released an Evo Speed 2026 as of November 2026. Padel Nuestro still lists the Evo Speed 2025 as the current model, and we found no 2026 version at Padel Nuestro or Padel Market, so that is the racket this guide covers. The Vibe has had a 2026 update, and that is the Vibe compared here.

The differences between the Evo Speed 2025 and the Vibe 2026 are small. The Vibe has a Power Foam core, and Head publishes a 265 mm balance for it. The Evo Speed has a fibreglass and Innegra frame with a 38 mm profile and a soft foam core, and the sources disagree on its balance, so we do not quote one.

The Head Vibe and the Head Coello Vibe are different rackets, despite the shared name. The Coello Vibe 2026 (model 226156) belongs to Head’s Coello range and weighs 356 g with a 272 mm balance on Head’s figures. The plain Vibe 2026 (model 226106) weighs 350 g with a 265 mm balance, again on Head’s figures. Both are covered below.

Our decision rule is simple: because the specs barely separate them, buy whichever of the two is cheaper on the day. At the same price, take the Vibe 2026, the newer model with a published balance figure. For the whole Head range, from these entry rackets to the carbon Speed and Coello models, see our guide to the best Head padel rackets for 2026.

The price ranges overlap, so neither racket is always the cheaper one. Padel Nuestro had the Evo Speed 2025 at £54.17 and the Vibe 2026 at £57.51, but both were out of stock there when we checked in November 2026. Prices and stock change often, so check the retailer on the day. Our guide to where to buy padel rackets in the UK compares the main online shops.

1. Head Vibe 2026, best overall

Head Vibe 2026 padel racket
The Head Vibe 2026 is a 350 g teardrop with a fibreglass face and a soft Power Foam core. Image: Padel Market.

Head‘s Vibe 2026 is listed for beginner to intermediate players, and it is the newer of the two rackets in this comparison. It is a 350 g teardrop with a soft feel, and Head publishes a 265 mm balance, which it describes as mid balance.

The Vibe 2026 has a fibreglass frame and fibreglass faces with a flat surface rather than a rough one, over a Power Foam core. The 350 g weight is Head’s own figure; one retailer’s description gives a heavier range, so treat the weight as approximate. It comes in two colourways, blue and yellow or green and orange.

What you get: Teardrop shape, 350 g (Head’s figure), 265 mm balance, fibreglass frame, flat fibreglass face, Power Foam core, soft feel.

The Head Evo Speed 2025 is a 350 g teardrop with a fibreglass and Innegra frame. Image: Padel Nuestro.

The Head Evo Speed 2025 is still the current Evo Speed, because Head had not released a 2026 version as of November 2026. It is a 350 g teardrop for beginner to intermediate players, and at £54.17 at Padel Nuestro it was the cheaper of the two rackets in this comparison when we checked.

The Evo Speed 2025 frame is fibreglass with Innegra and has a 38 mm profile, the faces are flat fibreglass, and the core is a soft foam. RacketGuide lists it as oversize, while Padel Nuestro gives a normal format. Its balance is where the sources disagree most: Padel Nuestro lists it as low, a Decathlon UK listing says even, RacketGuide says high, and we found no millimetre figure from Head.

What you get: Teardrop shape, 350 g, fibreglass and Innegra frame with a 38 mm profile, flat fibreglass face, soft foam core.

Price and where to buy: £54.17 at Padel Nuestro, which listed it as out of stock when we checked in November 2026. A marketplace seller on Decathlon UK listed it at £84.99 in early November 2026, above the £80 UK RRP; marketplace prices change often.

Who it is for: New and improving players who want a Head racket for as little as possible and are happy with the 2025 model.

Head Coello Vibe 2026 padel racket
The Head Coello Vibe 2026 is a 356 g oversize teardrop with Arturo Coello’s signature on the face. Image: Padel Nuestro.

The Head Coello Vibe 2026 is not the same racket as the Head Vibe 2026, despite the name. It sits at the entry end of Head’s Coello range, which scales down from the Coello Pro through the Motion and Team, and Padel Nuestro describes it as aimed at beginner and occasional players who want to progress quickly.

The Coello Vibe 2026 is an oversize teardrop of 356 g with a 272 mm balance, so on Head’s figures it is 6 g heavier and slightly more head-heavy than the plain Vibe. The Head Speed Motion 2025 is a 355 g teardrop with a carbon and fibreglass hybrid face. Image: Padel Nuestro.

The Head Speed Motion 2025 is the next step up from the Evo Speed in Head’s Speed family, which Padel Market describes as designed for all-court players. It is Ari Sanchez’s racket, a 355 g teardrop listed for advanced and professional players, and it is 15 g lighter than the Speed Pro 2025.

The Speed Motion 2025 has a carbon and fibreglass hybrid face over a Power Foam core, a step up in materials from the all-fibreglass Evo Speed and Vibe. Its balance is listed at 270 mm, a touch higher than the Vibe 2026’s 265 mm.

What you get: Teardrop shape, 355 g, 270 mm balance, carbon and fibreglass hybrid face, Power Foam core.

Price and where to buy: £120.89 at Padel Nuestro, which listed it as out of stock when we checked in November 2026.

5. Head Speed Pro 2025, for competition players

Head Speed Pro 2025 padel racket
The Head Speed Pro 2025 is a 370 g teardrop with a carbon and fibreglass hybrid face. Image: Padel Nuestro.

The Head Speed Pro 2025 is the heaviest Speed model here at 370 g, with a medium balance, and it is the only racket in the main list that Padel Nuestro had in stock when we checked. Padel Nuestro lists it for advanced and competition players, so despite the shared Speed name it is a long way from the Evo Speed.

The Speed Pro 2025 has a flat carbon and fibreglass hybrid face over Power Foam, and the frame uses Head’s Graphene Inside construction with Smart Bridge and Auxetic 2.0. It is 20 g heavier than the Evo Speed 2025 and the Vibe 2026.

What you get: Teardrop shape, 370 g, medium balance, flat carbon and fibreglass hybrid face, Power Foam core, Graphene Inside, Smart Bridge, Auxetic 2.0.

Price and where to buy: £129.23 at Padel Nuestro in November 2026.

Who it is for: Competition players who train regularly and want Head’s carbon Speed racket rather than an entry model.

  • medium balance

Head Evo Speed padel racket buying guide

Shape and balance

Every racket in the main list is a teardrop, the shape between a round racket and a diamond. The Coello Pro 2026 is the only diamond in this guide, and it is not meant for beginners or intermediates.

Balance is measured in millimetres from the bottom of the handle, so a lower figure puts the weight nearer your hand. On the published figures, the Vibe 2026 is 265 mm, the Speed Motion 2025 is 270 mm and the Coello Vibe 2026 is 272 mm. The Evo Speed 2025 has no agreed figure, so if balance matters to you, try one before you buy. Our guide on how to choose a padel racket explains shape, weight and balance in more detail.

Weight

The Evo Speed 2025 and the Vibe 2026 both weigh 350 g on the figures we trust, so weight will not separate them. The Coello Vibe 2026 is 356 g, and the Speed Pro 2025 is 370 g, which is a noticeable step for a player coming from a 350 g racket.

Materials

The Evo Speed 2025, the Vibe 2026 and the Coello Vibe 2026 all have fibreglass faces with a flat surface, the usual build for Head’s entry rackets. The Speed Motion 2025 and Speed Pro 2025 move to a carbon and fibreglass hybrid face, and the Speed One 2025 to a rough carbon 2D face.

The cores differ by name more than by type. The Evo Speed 2025 uses a soft foam, the Vibe 2026 and the Speed rackets use Power Foam, and the Coello Vibe 2026 uses Reactive Power Foam.

Budget

The Evo Speed 2025 and the Vibe 2026 both cost under £100 in the UK in November 2026, and their price ranges overlap: £54.17 to £84.99 for the Evo Speed (the top of that range is a Decathlon UK marketplace seller) and £57.51 to £77.99 for the Vibe. The cheapest listing on the day should decide it. PadelDogs did not list Head when we checked, so look at Padel Nuestro, Padel Market and Decathlon UK.

The Speed Motion 2025 (355 g, £120.89 at Padel Nuestro) and Speed Pro 2025 (370 g, £129.23) add a carbon and fibreglass face, and both are listed for advanced players.
