Padel Courts in Sanur 2026: Where to Play in East Bali

Padel Courts in Sanur 2026: Where to Play in East Bali
The short answer

Sanur is one of Bali’s quieter, more residential corners, and its padel scene reflects that. Our team’s Bali padel coverage tracks five dedicated venues here: Sanur Padel Club (3 outdoor courts, strong community calendar), Jungle Padel Sanur (5 courts including 3 fully indoor), Simply Padel Sanur (3 panoramic courts), Liga.Tennis Sanur (4 covered padel courts inside a full racquet club) and Prime Padel & Pickle Sanur (2 hotel rooftop courts). All five book via Playtomic, Matchi or directly with the club.

This guide is for visitors on the east side of the island, long-term residents looking for a regular court, and Nusa Dua locals who already know Sanur is the closest padel hub. We have grouped each venue by its strongest reason to play there, with verified 2026 prices in IDR. Always reconfirm with the club directly before you book.

Sanur’s padel scene at a glance

Sanur sits on Bali’s south-east coast, framed by a long beach path and a calmer pace than Canggu or Seminyak. The padel scene here grew quickly from late 2022 onward, anchored by Sanur Padel Club, Liga.Tennis Sanur and Simply Padel.

Two more venues have since landed. Jungle Padel Sanur added five courts in Renon, just inland from Sanur, with three of them fully indoor. Prime Padel & Pickle opened on the rooftop of Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur with two roofed courts and a single pickleball court alongside.

The result is a small but unusually complete cluster: morning outdoor games, full all-weather indoor play, social Americano padel format nights, hotel rooftop sessions, and a multi-sport racquet club all within a 10 to 15 minute drive of central Sanur.

Where to play padel in Sanur

Outdoor padel courts at Sanur Padel Club in Bali
Sanur Padel Club’s three outdoor courts sit in a tropical garden setting on Jl. Danau Poso.

Sanur Padel Club

Sanur Padel Club sits at Jl. Danau Poso No.58 in Sanur Kauh and is the most community-driven venue in the area. Three outdoor courts built to European standard, palm trees ringing the play area, and a barista cafe attached to the clubhouse.

The activity calendar is what sets this club apart. Group lessons run alongside dedicated ladies and kids sessions, regular social games, the Americano format for competitive fun, and Cardio Padel fitness sessions that use padel drills as a workout.

Pricing is per-person and tiered by time of day. Off-peak slots between 10am and 4pm are IDR 60,000 per person for 60 minutes (IDR 90,000 for 90 minutes). Peak slots either side of those hours run IDR 90,000 for 60 minutes or IDR 135,000 for 90 minutes.

The club is open every day from 6am to 11pm, with booking through Matchi or the sanurpadel.com website. Three coaches cover the head, senior and junior tiers, and there is a pro shop and racket rental on site.

Jungle Padel Sanur

Jungle Padel Sanur sits at Jl. Tukad Balian in Renon, a short drive inland from central Sanur. Five international-standard courts in a mixed configuration: three fully indoor, one centre court, and one open-roof court.

That mix is the key reason to book here in wet season. Three of the five courts are protected from rain entirely, which is rare in Bali outside of INDOPADEL Denpasar and Bam Bam Padel Ubud. Court rental sits around IDR 400,000 per hour.

The recovery zone is generous: ice bath, sauna and showers, plus an on-site bar and restaurant for post-match wind-down. Coaches Verena, Tuadi, Patricia and Miguel run adults’ and kids’ academy programmes.

Booking goes through the dedicated Jungle Padel app rather than Playtomic. Open every day from 7am to 10:30pm, with sister branches in Pererenan, Canggu Shortcut, Kerobokan, Kedungu, Ubud, Seseh and Lembongan if you ever want to mix things up.

Simply Padel Sanur

Simply Padel Sanur sits on the Sanur bypass at Jl. Danau Tondano and was Sanur’s first dedicated padel facility. Three double panoramic courts: Court 1 and Court 2 are roofed semi-outdoor, Court 3 is fully open-air.

The build is the standout feature. Premium surfaces, full glass walls, and a cafe-restaurant that runs along the courts so non-playing partners can watch matches with breakfast or a cold drink. The recovery zone has sauna, cold plunge and changing rooms with hand towels supplied.

Pricing is not published publicly; bookings go through Playtomic, where current rates appear at the time of booking. The on-site coaching team includes Carlos M., and the restaurant runs from breakfast through dinner with beer, wine and cocktails.

If you want a polished, lifestyle-led playing experience and a more boutique atmosphere, this is the venue to book. Weekends fill quickly, so we recommend booking a few days ahead through the Playtomic app.

Liga.Tennis Sanur

Social padel session in Sanur, Bali
Mixed social games are the rhythm of Sanur padel - community-led rather than transient.

Liga.Tennis Sanur is the Sanur arm of the Liga.Tennis racquet club network. Four covered padel courts sit alongside five covered tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a squash court, a gym, sauna, pool and a cafe-pro shop, making this Sanur’s most complete multi-sport venue.

The padel-specific draw is range. Court rental is IDR 360,000 per hour. Group classes run at IDR 200,000 per person, and private padel coaching with their senior coach is IDR 610,000 for an hour. Prime Padel & Pickle Sanur

Prime Padel & Pickle sits on the third floor of Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur on Jl. Hang Tuah. Two roofed double panoramic padel courts plus a single pickleball court, all under cover with an open-air feel.

This is one of Bali’s few padel-and-pickleball venues, and the only one inside a hotel in Sanur. Court rental is IDR 400,000 for 60 minutes, IDR 600,000 for 90 minutes, or IDR 800,000 for 120 minutes. Note the court fee is based on four players, so the full price applies even with two on court.

Coaching is IDR 550,000 for one player, scaling up to IDR 1,200,000 for four. Racket rental is IDR 50,000 per session and balls are IDR 125,000 per can. The recovery package (sauna, hot jacuzzi, ice bath) is IDR 100,000 per person.

What it costs to play padel in Sanur in 2026

Sanur covers a wider price band than most Bali sub-areas because the venues are pitched at different audiences. The cheapest hour on a Sanur court is currently Sanur Padel Club’s per-person off-peak rate (IDR 60,000 between 10am and 4pm), which works out at IDR 240,000 per court hour with four players.

The mid-band sits around IDR 360,000 per court hour at Liga.Tennis Sanur, which buys you a covered surface inside a full racquet club. Jungle Padel Sanur and Prime Padel & Pickle both sit at IDR 400,000 per hour for the full court fee, with Jungle’s three indoor courts giving you weather-proof play.

Simply Padel Sanur prices through Playtomic at the point of booking, and weekend prime-time slots tend to sit at the upper end of the local range. Group classes are the cheapest way in: Liga.Tennis Sanur runs them at IDR 200,000 per person, and Sanur Padel Club’s group lessons fall around the same range.

Why Sanur works well for padel

Sanur Padel Club venue with tropical surrounds in Sanur, Bali
A garden-fringed clubhouse and quiet streets are part of why Sanur padel feels different from Canggu.

Sanur’s padel scene has a more rooted, community feel than the transient crowds you find in Canggu or Seminyak. Repeat players show up to the same social sessions, which makes finding a regular game far easier as a newcomer.

The neighbourhood also has lighter traffic than the west coast, so getting to your venue is rarely stressful. Early morning sessions are particularly pleasant: the light over the beach side of Sanur in the first hour after sunrise is hard to beat.

Families with kids will find Sanur unusually well set up. Sanur Padel Club’s dedicated junior and ladies sessions, Liga.Tennis Sanur’s Junior Academy, and the area’s overall family-friendly feel make this one of the easiest places on the island to introduce younger players to the sport.

Getting to padel in Sanur

Most Sanur accommodation is within a 10 to 15 minute scooter ride of the dedicated padel venues. Jl. Danau Poso (Sanur Padel Club), Jl. Danau Tondano (Simply Padel) and Jl. Hang Tuah (Prime Padel & Pickle) all sit within central Sanur. Liga.Tennis Sanur is in the same band of streets, with Jungle Padel Sanur slightly inland in Renon.

From Ubud, Sanur is about 30 to 40 minutes by car. From Canggu or Seminyak, allow 45 to 60 minutes either side of rush hour. From Nusa Dua, Sanur is the closest padel hub, roughly 20 to 25 minutes up the coast road.

Parking is generally available at all five venues. Sanur is far less congested than Canggu or Kuta, so a scooter is a relaxed way to get between courts if you want to sample more than one club in a stay.
